haven't been active due to winter and I think I might have gained a bit of weight. I am about 5'7 in height and weigh about 130lbs. I really would like to change my life! So I would like to know if anyone could tell me how much food you're supposed to eat...like i think its 6-11 grains, and cereals per day.....(anyone know the rest?)
Not only that but I would like to strengthen the muscles of my uppper body, become toned and more muscular before the summer! I already found this post by someone else and it seems interesting!
30 push-ups 30 sit-ups 10 push-ups 30 Crunches 10 push-ups 30 Crunches with legs in the air 40 Scissor crunches (Elbow touches oposite knee, then switch.)
~Done within 15 minutes so short breaks can be tooken.~
I'm going to try this....but would anyone happen to have a cluse as to how many crunches one is supposed to do to get abbs....my friends says 3000 but she doesn;t have any! Can someone plz help me solve my predicement?

In Calories its about 2k per day I believe, varies by person. In grains according to the food pyramid I think that's right. As for Abs showing just keep working on them, keep doing your exercises and eventually they'll show, I am not sure you'd have to do 3k of crunches for them to show daily, but if you can handle that much, go for it, just gotta give things time. Some weights might also help as well. Even holding weights while doing some of the exercises (the crunches and situps) helps. Just remember to work out the lower back as well, to balance out the exercises of your abs, a personal trainer I had once told me that.
