The lioness wrinkled her nose as a chill ran down her spine. The pride was a little ways off, and she lay beneath a tree, green eyes pressed up at the clouded night sky. There was a chilling silence surrounding her as she thought, her mind riddled as it usually was. Her sons were all grown up. One had found a love... A light sigh escaped Ayana's lips, turning to a wisp of grey as it disappeared into the dark sky. She was getting old... Or at least, she felt like it...

Februus wandered away from his grandfather's lands. He still felt like a ghost, in search of something...something he never knew what it was. Something missing, though that he knew.

As he spoke again, she gave a light chuckle. "My worries aren't that bad. They don't need to become yours." Though, after a pause, she added, "It's nothing. My sons.. They've grown. I'm afraid I've become a bit old..." She gave a faint chuckle, flicking her ears. "So old, and my life seems so empty..."
