A trainer kit of sorts for new battlers looking to learn more about the metagame. I would be happy if mods edited their bookmarked links in and the users posted theres. (No particular order)
Oh, and please post which links you think do not belong xp
I'll sticky this once it is edited enough to make it more useful.

Find it and I will sticky it. This was a five minute copy+pasta session, not much thought went into it TBH.

Post some guides, I'll throw them in.

I think darkslasherX's guide about IV's would be a good one to add.

I'm not sure why you guys are wasting your time with Pocket Monsters, when you could be playing real games like: Monster Hunter 2, FF1 and FF2, Pacman, Space Invaders, or my all-time favorite campaign Halo 3

And how exactly does any of those games that you just listed make them any more real than pokemon is as a game? For the most part, each of those games have their individual competitive aspects and challenges just as much as the information provided in this thread does for pokemon.

Please construct a better argument, or actually find something that connects to the topic of this thread.

Oh come on, Monster Hunter 2: hunting monsters is like my daily life ( the Joker, Bane, the Riddler, the Penguin ) I don't see how much more real you can get than that. FF1 and 2, magic and swords provide a lost link to the past, if only we hadn't lost the knowledge of magic and sword play. Space invaders: a 2D shoot aliens in space game is completely reprensentative of today's technology, didn't you see that Futurama episode? As for Pacman, Everyone gets hungry thats a fact of life, nuff said. I am most humbly sorry for bringing that piece of trash Halo into this conversation. You have my sincerest apologies. *Bows and leaves*

I think we got off on the wrong wing, my good buddy Superman just broke up with his 6 year boyfriend Spiderman, and I was hoping to fill the void, but suddenly Bruce Wayne had to be all like I'll be there for you Superman, and stole from under my nose. But I tried to vent my anger on Pokemon and I'm sorry.

Back to Pokemon, here's my team:

The ultimate sweeper: Ditto
The second best sweeper: Venasaur
My tank: Charizard
Staller 1: Nidoking
Staller 2: Venimoth
Staller 3: Jynx
