Because we also love Shika paired with other people besides Neji.
All Shika-pairings welcome!
(Note, feel free to talk about ShikaNeji, but...we already have a main forum for that, so let's just focus on "other pairings".)
To start:
I think ShikaNaru is really cute.
Followed by ShikaChou.
I don't really like ShikaKiba, but I've read a few fanfics.
I've seen some crack ones too. Like ShikaShino (which might be cute) and ShikaHina (Sharing the Nara-love with all the Hyuugas! XD)
The worst I've ever seen was ItachiShika. burning_eyes
I also like ShikaTema, since that seems the most likely thing to happen right now.
And...I think that's it.

Okay. I just need to get how much I love ShikaNaru out of my system. First off, there were so many cute moments between them during the Chuunin exams. Shika helping Naruto up, Shika's little hug he gave to Naruto, them talking in the staiway, etc. They all make me squeal like a fangirl. Okay, now for some media: Eyes Woah. Would yuo take a look at that screenshot. o_O  Why Shikamaru is gay. With some ShikaNaru moments. (I wish there was one ShikaNeji hug though. T^T)

Hmm...other pairings I like with Shikamaru? There's not too many...I prefer Shika to be seme, but that's just my personal taste. Though I like him paired with a bitchy/dominant female/uke- which is why I like him with Neji.
I don't mind ShikaIno or ShikaChouji. Shika and Chouji were so cute together as kids. I've also read and liked a few InoShikaChou three-somes. Really weird, but enjoyable nonetheless.
I also don't mind ShikaTemari, just cuz she' a bit of a bad-a** and can knock our dear deer around. Then again...Neji can do that, too. ^^
Poor Shikamaru, destined to be forever bullied...how troublesome. wink

(The only team threesome I've read so far was a Team 8 threesome. And it was HOT.)
I see Shika as seme most of the time. But he's uke when he's with Temari. rofl

I actually haven't read Shika with any other male aside from Neji and Kiba. ShikaNaru is cute, I don't really like ShikaSasu and currently, I'm kind of nervoud when it comes to ShikaChouji. The moments between them are cute so it's kind of easy to see.... but the pairing just doesn't interest me.

Yeah, I'm a bit afraid that the logivcal part of me will denounce ShikaNeji because ShikaChou seems to make a bit more sense. (This is why Kishimoto should put some canon moments in the manga.)

Luckily, or unluckily, for me, my brain isn't logical at all. I think nothing of pairing two hot bishies together, even if they totally hate eachother in the canon, or have little to no interaction at all. 'Tis the wonder of fandom. I usually end up falling in love with a bishie and then try to find another character I like to pair him up with. ^^

Uhm, I once wrote a MinatoShika AU. It seemed to go over fairly well, at least based on the reviews I got from it.... sweatdrop
Again that was another one where I just felt like something different and Minato is hot!! burning_eyes It was also really fun.
I don't know... I'm pretty open-minded about stuff; any yaoi pairing will suffice. Not much into het so I don't really support the Shika/Female Character right now (it actually kind of depresses me cry ) and I'm kind of glad Kishimoto-sensei hasn't announced any pairings yet. Let the fans dream!! (Although I think ppl will kill him if he doesn't pair Naruto with Sasuke; the fandom for them is huge!)
