Here we go, next session is right around the corner. I hope everyone has had a lot of fun so far.

That said, there's some changes in the wind for the next few sessions. I won't be cooking this time around. I figure either we can order take out in advance or maybe we can order pizzas or something. We're going to break up the buying of soda and chips probably as well too.

We also have a second game to discuss. That would be our own North Hackettsville High School RPG here on Gaia. I have some details to share that are important to know as teenagers in the Captain N Game, but that I don't necessarily want to post on the forums about. I will tell you all up front that certain details that play out in the RP here on the forums will have direct bearing on how Captain N ends!

We also get to introduce DS as a fully fledged character, now being played by Adam! Woo Hoo!

I will give you all a little info about where the N Team is headed this week. There is something going on in Megaland, and rumor there may be a cure for the Maverick Virus that pits reploid against human! Is it true, or is it a clever ruse to bring Zero home for something much more sinister? The N Team will find out. I recommend reading up on the Mega Man X page on Wikipedia if you are not familiar, as most of my sessions have been coming "straight from the book" on Wikipedia so far.

Might be a famous blue hedgehog in an upcoming session as well. Fair warning.

Yes, it's my fault that game is canceled this week... I have a friend's birthday party on the Saturday that I just found out about, and there's no way that I could get down and back in time for game. I'm really, really sorry, guys! I wish I could work something out, and I agonized over this before coming to a decision. I WILL make it up to everyone, though, I promise smile

I do confirm that this Saturday's Captain N Session has been canceled. (3/1/200 cool . I will try again on The Ides of March (March 15th for those who do not know.)

While Ally has already noted the major reason why we're canceling, there are other factors in play. Some of which I will share now, and others that I do not care to.

First and foremost, there is a tremendous pressure on me at my job right now to make high numbers and get in front of my work, which I am admittedly not in control of. I can easily spend all day Saturday working, and it will take a sizable chunk out of the work I have to do during the week.

I am also essentially in a Cold War with my mother right now, the details of which I do not want to share. Until it blows over, I don't think running the game at her house is such a good idea, although my father and sister do not mind.

I'm also in a foul mood this week, the factors above have only made it worse. I don't really care to elaborate on that either.

If anyone still wants to hang out Saturday night, let us know. We should still be free later on Saturday, but I will probably be spending the morning and part of the afternoon at work, if not Sunday as well.

I was going to make a journal post about it, but I feel it would be a waste of your time.
