I download something new almost everyday it seems.
How often to you download things for your sims?
What do you generally download?
How much have you downloaded recently?

I download loads of content! I don't know how much space they take up but I have over 6000 files! I usually download hacks or mods that "fix" things in the game or make them more sensible.

Aside from official maxis downloads, the only custom content I have is hair and a few outfits. I don't really like to clutter up my game with a lot of CC, so I don't bother with downloading.

Hardly anything. For one, I have a hard time figuring out how to do it right-I've gotten a few outfits to work, but usually I end up deleting stuff I attempt to download because I can't it to work. It's ok though-I like them as is enough not to worry about it.

I've only downloaded two items ever. And they were not even items just codes to fix game glitches. I like playing with minimal outside help or influence; plus i'm a scardy cat about viruses!!!

If you do, it should catch any viruses as soon as you download it.
I do all of my downloading at modthesims2.com since I've had the game and I've never gotten a virus from anything there.

The only hack I have is so when my male children use the toilet there isn't an annoying xylophone noise.

Currently I have 3,24 Gigs of custom content in my downloads folder. I'm in the works of deleting some of it now though, because I don't use all of it.
I download all kinds of stuff. Furniture, build items, outside stuff, clothes, hair, makeup, hacks, eyes, houses, sims, jewelery etc. Anything that I find interesting.
And I download from very many different sites. I always look for new places to download from. And I've never had any problems with any of my cc.
If I didn't have cc, I wouldn't be able to play the game, because I greatly dislike how the sims looks without it.
I download stuff whenever I see something I like. Sometimes I go weeks without downloading anything, because I love going on a downloading spree, haha.

I have way too many downloads! Once I get started I don't stop because when I'm downloading something I always spot something else I want so I get that too, and it ends up being quite a lot

I have to say that I do download a lot. From both free and pay sites. But I had a crash last month and forgot to save my downloads folder before uninstaling my game and everything go deleated. So with that comes a new area of downloading. I have decited to sore out stuff that I don't want anymore by not redownload them and sorted everything into folders. I have also started sticking to just a hand full of sites so I would not download to much again. At one point I had about five gigs of content eek but now I am down to about two mrgreen

I have 331megabites. But I used to have alot more. Every year or so I re-install my game to get rid of all the CC and everything. Then I go on a shopping spree of sorts and download all new stuff!
And as for those of you who's downloads dont work, I HIGHLY reccomend downloading WinRar. I've found it works with every download.
I also reccomend extracting just the package file/s from the folder and deleting the folder afterword. Just to avoid clutter. 3nodding

I don't download often. It's usually a spur of the moment thing.
Today I downloaded for 3 hours.
I love downloading hair. It's just my favorite thing to get.

The computer our sims is on isn't connected to the internet so it's a real hassle to download stuff then transfer it over so we don't download very much. But we've downloaded some hair and eyes and such. I want to get some better clothes . . . eventually stare rofl

My computer with Sims wasn't ever connected to the internet until recently.
I have a 2GB jump-drive for 'school'.

So transferring all of my stuff is pretty easy.
I haven't really downloaded much stuff lately because I haven't played Sims in like, two weeks.
