It's a sequel to The Other Side of Truth. It's about this family from Nigeria who had to leave because the father is being hunted by the government. (They already killed his wife.) So they end up going to London and are now waiting to be told if they can stay there, but the son becomes involved with a gang and that may jeopardize their situation.

Edit: New Moon as in New Moon by Rebecca York, which is obviously not part of the Twilight series.

Oh! Oh!
I love the Lightning Thief books, aaaaannd, uh, I like that one book, by that one guy... Oh! Uh, wazzitcalled, that one about the girl, um, Ali! And she's the fairy queen, or something, but she doesn't know, and you only find that out at the end? Eh, it started with an 'A'.
Also, I like Terry Pratchett. But his brain is going, so, yeah.
