links you should never use for loli Please help I think it's good for newcomers Bad articles http://www.freewebs.com/brokendolly/styles.html There is a misinformed view of lolita fashion. http://www.morbidoutlook.com/fashion...hiclolita.html Miss informed http://www.neitherland.com/hyperball...c_lolita.shtml http://www.japanlinked.com/about_jap...itastyles.html Many mistakes with styles. http://www.carmenyuen.com/blog/ http://www.blindigo.com/japanese-fashion-gothic-lolita/ http://www.artificeclothing.com/em/s...ts/default.asp http://www.lilith-ezine.com/articles...c_lolitas.html
Stores that do not sell Lolita Clothing or the do a poor job of making Lolita clothing. In the past I have seen people try to use items from these sites for Lolita. I think alot of it was incorrect. www.cosmates.jp - Over priced for what it is. http://www.kinkyangel.co.uk/ http://www.ipukeglamour.com/ http://www.gloomth.com/shorts.html http://www.branimiraivanova.com/ http://stores.ebay.com/KATHERINA-AND...enameZl2QQtZkm http://www.kissmycherry.com/ http://www.nocturnalnostalgia.com/ http://www.phaze-clothing.com/ http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Altshop-UK http://stores.ebay.com/REFUSE-TO-BE-...enameZL2QQtZkm Good shoes, icky clothes Ling lam Good shoes, icky clothes Quote:Originally Posted by l o l i t a e-bay user honestdragonchina to that list. I ended up throwing them away... They also use pictures from designer websites and try to pass them off as their own.
http://www.blackrose.co.uk/index.php...37;20- Short http://hotrodvoodoo.com/hrv/index.ph...=index&cPath=1 http://www.halonoir.com/lolita/dresses.htm http://www.wickedsmileys.com/Lolita/ http://www.dracinabox.com/default/of...Stuff/Costumes www.hottopic.com Momo's Handicrafts Store they don't even use there own pictures. anything that comes p when you search amazon.com for lolita
Great Stuff slow shipping Rose Chocolate- Beautiful Handmade shoes but takes 3-4 months to receive so if your in a hurry do not order from here. Cupcakeland- She does orders from secret shop but it takes 3-4 for her to get your items so If your in a hurry please don't use this user.
--e-bay seller tssy2005. It's another Momo's, and I've seen people get taken in by them as well. Link: http://stores.ebay.com/TSSY2005
--Same deal with e-bay seller cosplay007. Link: http://stores.ebay.com/cosplay007
And Yin Yincs, though, I can't seem to locate their seller page.
--Very Important Link to Avoid: The ever craptastic Leg Avenue. http://www.legavenue.com/, http://www.electriqueboutique.com/, or their items sold at retailers anywhere. Just be aware of the brand name you're buying at any store, since they're nationwide and sold at Target, Walmart, Meijer, etc.
Avoid anything made by them like the plague. A) It's targeted at strippers, and their costumes are appropriate for such people. B) Their socks - which might seem loliable to newbies - are extremely poor quality and generally lack the opaqueness needed for lolita style. They're usually made with tights like nylon material that pills, stains, and become virtually unusable after being washed once.
--Also, here's a great example of what you'd actually get from Momo's. Someone should save these pics as a horrifying testimony to their fail: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-sweet-gothic...QQcmdZViewItem

Wow. Poordolly's more recent site is good, but it looks like her old website sucked.
Cosmates is overpriced for what it is, and most of their outfits are crap, period. The only good ones are just ripoffs anyways. Some people can work the better made bodyline items into a lolita outfit, but most of the are just a huge no. A bunch of those links are broken, you know. o3o
I would clean up the post a little bit, to make it easier to read.
And in general, almost anything you'll buy off of eBay is either way low quality, (way low quality = not lolita) not lolita in the first place even if it is made of decent quality materials, or a scam stealing pictures from brand-name lolita websites.

Phaze-clothing makes me wanna vomit...
You forgot Heavy-Red! I love this website for their corsets and blouses, but their conception of Lolita is completely out-of-the-track...
