Khenan was dreaming…and in this dream he could see the beautiful, luminescent full moon amidst the black ocean of stars in the night sky. He is standing alone within an opening in the forest which revealed a gorgeous field mystified by the moonlight and surrounded by lush greenery. Time seemed to have stopped and became an insignificant presence as if it were just for this moment. He noticed something moving just out of the blue, a shadowed silhouette against the light of the trees. Now aware and tense, he looks at the spot where the movement was once before, and a Moon Fae emerges from the trees looking terribly frightened, weary, and exhausted.

She tries to voice the words pleading for his help, but nothing comes, she is panting and the air cannot catch the sound. Khenan looks at her, bewildered by her appearance, not knowing who or what she is. He begins walking towards her, as a rasp sound erupts from the back of her, startling the Moon Fae and causing her to retreat across the field at the mere sound of these tremulous and eerie noises. Khenan subconsciously reaches back to unsheathe his sword out of caution and awareness of this unknown situation. He whistles a low note not nearly audible enough to alert whatever is chasing her and yet at the same time he ponders on what was going on to have caused all this trouble.

The Moon Fae reaches the other side of this hidden field to hide behind the trees, wondering why this man isn’t fleeing for his life. She calls out to him, yelling and begging him to flee, but he does not. She begins to feel extremely nervous because this man will not listen to her words, yet suddenly a rustling begins in the bush behind her. She turns slowly completely frightened at this new sound. And her thoughts race frantically as she ponders and worries on what will happen to her.

She begins backing away from this noise, so as to flee for her life. A paw surfaces from behind the bushes elusive leaves, but this paw looks like a shadow in itself. A black stream of a pigmented outline that was secluded to even the darkness it emerged from. The Moon Fae’s eyes begin to soften, but she is still nervous as can be as she sees a small Coco walking past staring at her with its curiously deep and seemingly vast yellow eyes. He pauses for a moment with an out stretched paw waiting for the woman, scanning her to see what she is about; he sniffs the air lightly and intently, catching a familiar scent.

Again he hears a low audible whistle alerting him of his partner’s whereabouts, continuing on he decides to ignore the woman and investigate later. The Moon Fae watches closely and follows the Coco’s path tracing it back to the man who seems to have been derived of fear. Returning to the Khenan’s side, Coco looks up at him with those yellow eyes and begins scanning to see what’s going on. This tremulous sound vibrates through the air once again, causing the Moon Fae to jump.

Khenan steps back as this humongous figure begins to bear down upon them through the trees. It sounds another frightening roar. A set of wings expanded from is sides mysteriously taken from nothingness. The wings rise and fall once sending great gusts of air at Khenan and Coco. They stood there without any remorse, just to offer their help to this mysterious woman. Stepping forward it began to rise in the air slowly and with one forceful push it drives itself straight into the sky. He could see that this creature took the form of a dragon. What an interesting thing for a dragon to be attacking people since they are usually docile till provoked.

Still shrouded in the shadows, this frightening being soars above their heads blocking the moon lit night like an ominous figure rushing down onto them with full force. A flash of eerie light occurs and the dragon begins to take a new form that looked almost human. Landing softly behind the two of them, despite its previous size, while watching Khenan and the black cat at his side turning to keep their attention on this mythical beast’s newly averted form. The Moon Fae began to edge herself away, eyes transfixed on this dragon’s elegance as a human. It took a form of a human man and yet it had very distinct characteristics of a dragon. Its wings had failed to disappear just as its claws, eyes which remained as those white rounded slits, and various other features that betrayed this form.

“Why are you putting yourself in danger for this Moon Fae?” the dragon voicing in an annoyed stature, continuing to speak “she is nothing of your concern boy!” “If you wish to commence with battle then I will gladly devour your flesh for your impotence.”
