Kila smiled happily as her sister rejoined her. She had came to see her new cubs. Recruited by Maeri. Maeri had just informed her that Adrastos requested her past the borders to meet the new family. She wondered why he didn't come to the pride but she had said he was short on time as King. She sensed something amiss. But she didn't quite catch on.
Daiquiri trailed the heels of her mother while the newborn darkest cub sped a head and then fell behind. She was a treat, really. Jazz made sure she was still around. Still not a mother she was unaware that you didn't have to watch cubs all the time.
Kila spotted a shaded tree and nodded to it before she made it there resting spot.

She didn't know why they were doing this, she thought as she padded next to her niece, she looked back at her brother and sighed. Why couldn't we just pretend this never happened? she thought with a soft sigh before she smiled at her niece. "Excited to see your sister and mother?" she asked softly, eying the lioness beside her.
She was angry with Kila for this. How selfish of her, Niobe thought with a flick of her tail.
"Hello Kila.." She said, very distantly.
She nodded her head at her aunt before nudging her shoulder against hers softly, she spied the gathering under a tree, knowing who was there she paused. They were going to really see her, really do this..She looked away for a moment. She supposed it had to be done, with a deep breath she nodded her head, lifting it proudly.
She was Queen now, she couldn't mop about and let it show that she was in pain. She neared her mother, stopping a short distance away, her tail waved behind her. "Hello mother.."
He'd watched his daughter and sister ahead of him, walking behind them was something he was not used to doing. But he didnt know if Kila had brought others out for protection, what the little mouse had told her.
He continued until he was between his sister and daughter, he didnt say anything. Just stared at the dark little cub for a long moment, she had done it. The little rat wasn't lying, blast the b*****d who touched what was his to hell! His eyes danced as they moved back to Kila now, he said nothing.

Tic Tac knew everyday he pulled himself deeper and deeper into this whole drama. But he could not leave Kila, His love was the only thing that was keeping him here, her and her family and now his own. He looked down at the ground as he flew above the family. The brighter of his children stayed on his back as he flew.
Some thing in the pit of his stomach told him somthing was going to happen today, he was jumpy.
He watched as Kila stopped under a tree and he landed coming upbehind her and the rest of the family.

"Tic Tac leave." she stated to him as he approached. There was nothing else to say to him. He was in danger...she knew it. Her cubs too. Her eyes stared at the three of them. "What are you doing here?" she questioned. The ruby cub gleamed happily at her father, her golden wings beaming. She nosed Tic Tac before taking off towards her father. "DADDY!" she exclaimed. Kila grabbed Raina and clung her to her chest as she watched them intently, unknowing there actions.Jasmyn looked to her. "You knew this was to happen sometime, Kila." she replied softly."You knew of this?" Kila growled."No." she replied simply."Maeri." Kila stated.

She looked to Jasmyn now, and smiled kindly, "Well hello stranger.." She had not problems with her at all. Rather liked her a bit, she stretched and sat down. She eyed the winged male, daggers shotting out of her eyes as she kept silent.
She watched as she was almost ignored by her mother, her heart ached as she watched her cling to the cub, before a smile tugged at her muzzle as she reached out and pawed at her youngest sister. "Hey you.." She said happily, though tears threatened her eyes.
He clung to his youngest daughter, nuzzling her happily. "Hello my sweetness.." He said with a grin, licking her softly. She stank of the other male, he'd groom it right off of her.
He lifted his head from staring at his youngest daughter and chuckled. "I wondered how she got you out here.." He flicked his tail, "Dont worry, Im not going to touch your newest...cubs." He almost choked on the word though, his eyes moved instantly to the male. "But I made no promises of his safety Kila..." He said, looking to her now. "Your sister is right, it was coming. Im not going to just leave my children to think I am dead...nor MY mate.."

“Adaeze?” Kila’s heart ached perhaps just as much as her daughter, she didn’t know what to think or say. But when presented with this situation she wanted Benoni back. She had cubs though, cubs she loved and adored. She did have feelings for Tic Tac but they hadn’t even rivaled Benoni’s. She wouldn’t bring herself to say it, her eyes showed it. He had left and now he was back? “So now you feel that you can walk in and out of my life as you please.” Tears welled in her eyes, this was coming too that she did know. “God I can’t even bring myself to be bitter towards you.” She felt Raina pawing at her chest, but she ignored it. Benoni’s rage was not what she wanted. He had never expressed it towards her, he had always loved her…since the beginning and she to he. She remembered all the jealousy she had for him, she couldn’t imagine what he felt… “I’m not sorry for them,” she motioned to her cubs. “I’m sorry for you leaving.”
Jasmyn looked to Niobe, “I would say good to see you but these are unfortunate conditions to be meeting.” She frowned, “Kila, please don’t make another mistake with your mate. He is still your mate and your King. Take your sister’s advice for once.” She huffed with a bit of anger, “He left for a damned good reason, no matter how long he was gone…” she replied. “You remember what happened between our parents…”she whispered.
Daiquiri pawed at her father’s face, giggling madly. Not comprehending the situation, just that she got to see her father again…

She looked at her mother as her named was called, she sighed. "Yes?" she asked, a brow slightly arched. She should tell her that she was Queen now, since she had father in such shambles he couldnt tend to the pride without fear of his fury to take over? No, she'd better just keep quiet..
"Very true.." Niobe nodded, she felt partly to blame about this, it was her daughter that was missing...her sweet Polaris. She sighed softly, and looked away. It saddened her greatly.
He wanted to choke the life out of the b*****d that stood by Kila, but he kept his eyes on her. "Walk in and out? I went to look for my niece...Polaris is still missing...You'd expect me to stay and not look for her?" he questioned now. "I should have sent word, yes. But I was alone, I had to go.." He kept his youngest close to him, as she pawed as he face, he continued to groom her, that stench had to be gone with. "Im sorry you did this.." He mumbled, he couldnt believe she'd gone and laid with another already. "I wont harm your cubs Kila, you know me better than that.." He almost growled it.

Mai Tai the little cub jumped off of her fathers back. "Mama Kila." She ran up and nuzzled her mother then looked at the other lions. She then tossed a look at her sister. Whats going on. She looked at the male and puffed out her chest a bit. "Whos that mommy." She felt like crying so much tension in the air. "Daddys not leaving." The little one slightly hissed the words.
Tic Tac watched her daughter as she moved foreward. His mind raced as he looked around. Was Kila, using him? Why did she not say anything about this? He was starting to get agatated. He looked around and started to back up some, he would not do anything unless some one else started it.
"NO! DADDY!" Mai freaked for a moment as the hair on the back of her neck stood up and she started crying.
"I'm not leaving." He looked at Kila and pulled his daughter over to nuzzle her.

The female was confussed, Tic Tac didn't understand the situation. "You will not listen to me?" she questioned. "Your saftey depended on it..." she whispered. She had a feeling Benoni would tear him apart, she wondered if she still knew him well enough that she could calm him down. Raina trotted off to her father, blinking at the situation. Just as confussed as Daiquiri. As if on cue Kila got to all fours, instead of her haunches. Kila licked the top of Mai Tai's head. "It's alright Mai Tai..." she walked closer to Benoni, she could smell him now. She looked down to Daiquiri, pampered by her father now. "I need to talk to you, away from this crowd." she looked to him with eyes of need, he wouldn't reject her. It wasn't the Benoni she knew. "I hope you understand Tic Tac, but...we need to talk."
Jasmyn watched in silence, Raina bounded back and fourth between her aunt and her father. Large ears flickering back and fourth as tennis ball sized eyes watched everything.

Tic Tac looked around again with lost eyes and looked down at Mai. "I'll be back sweetie I promise." He looked up at Kila then turned around. "I will be back." He nodded and started flying off, away from the whole thing.
Mai watched as her father took off and again she started crying. "Mama! Why'd you make daddy leave!" She slightly she didn't know what to do. She looked at the large male again and huffed digging her head between her paws.

He grinned at the male, a rather cold and fanged grin, he didnt know. Benoni smirked as he looked to Kila now, what had she told him. A brow arched as he looked at the now dramas of the cub, whiney thing..he thought looking to his own daughter, she was so innocent of the world. He loved that most about her, her sweet innocence. With another lick to her cheek, he nuzzled her. "Daddy will be back my sweet one..Go pick on your sister about her boyfriend.." He sent Adaeze a teasing smile. "Or ask her a million questions about your nieces and nephew.." He rose to his paws.
Benoni was a large male, his size rivaled some of the bigger lions around, the sheer muscle that rippled under his coat was impressive. "I suppose I can do that much.." He wanted to rip the feathers out of the winged male. "You dont mind do you chump? That I take a walk with my mate.."

"But I just saw you daddy! Promise to come back..." she demanded. Her eyes narrowed at her father. But before he could reply Kila responded, "He will be back and I won't take him away, love." she nosed her cubs rump and she trotted off to Jazz, looking back every moment. She pounced on Raina and they started playing, they both looked to Mai to join in.
Kila watched Tic Tac flee the scene, the way he did it seemed immature...she thought she knew him better than that. He had been so sweet. She looked to Mai, "He said he'd be back Mai Tai...he will keep to his word. Mommy has to go talk for awhile." She gave Benoni a look for his unwanted comments before leading him away from the rest.

He chuckled at his youngest before following after Kila, the winged rat had fled, he smirked.
"You know I will want to see my children you know.." He said as they moved away, his tail flicked out behind him. "Sophia is a mother now.." He rolled his shoulders, what did she really have to say. What would change things to the way they were?

"Our childeren?" her eyes narrowed. It hit a nerve it seemed...however it didn't stay like that for long, "I know." she replied softly. "And I also know that too. I am excited for her...I wish I could've been there." she felt warm tears fall. "I am happy in Rose Petal Pride, I have our childeren, Raina and Mai Tai...Tic Tac." she looked to him honestly, into those dark lavendars. "But I don't have you, nor Adaeze or the rest of my family. I've missed you, despite my actions."

"She did very well, two girls and a boy...her mate is very kind to her..Very protective I like the lad." Benoni was over joyed to be a grandfather once again, but the recent advents had taken away that joy, taken his breath.
"She wished you had been, she called out for you during labor..Sophie is a very delicate lass..." He side, there hadnt been much he could have done.
"Surprised Santos let you pass, his a bit hotheaded for my taste though I do enjoy a good chat with his mate now and again.." His tail flicked, he looked down at her, her tears made the hardness in his eyes soften a bit. He'd always love Kila, no matter what laid head, she was the mother to his children and his first love..they were always special.
But as she said his name, Tic tac, he wanted to choke the life out of her. The softness in his eyes went away, "your family misses you very much..Adaeze in at odds about all of this...and I well.." He looked out past her, "I am King, I cannot wallow in my sorrow forever..its not good for the family. Though it does seem as if you've already found comfort with another.." He stopped and looked at her hard.
