Route 2: A small route that seperates Viridian City from the Viridian Forest. At a brisk walking pace one could travel on foot through this path in an hour before reaching the limit between the forest and the open plain where the route is. The route is pretty much the same as route 1 only it has a tad less hills to deal with. As with Route 1 there is a path leading from it for those who want a quick passage through without the Poke'mon confrontations. Alex looked at the trees that towered beyond. It looked like she only had to walk for about ten minutes more, but with her skateboard it would only take her about five minutes to reach the entrance. She tapped the two pokeballs on her belt, although one of her pokemon was already out and circling the entrance to the forest up ahead. She smiled and waved to the spearow, before sending herself towards the entrance after him.
She knew there were pikachu in there; and she was definately going to catch one, however long it took. But there were also the bug pokemon, pidgeys, rattatas and also a few pidgeottos, and it would also take her a few days to get through.

At was dark outside, Slifer ran through the long grass as a short cut, hoping not to disturb anything that was sleeping. He smiled at Tails, who was sniffing, trying to find Pokemon for her owner. Laughing slightly he looked at Tails "Come on Tails, don't be silly" he said, before realising Tails had a good idea, looking for Pokemon whilst they were asleep, sending out Spearow he sent him to look in branches for resting Pidgey's, whilst Tail sniffed for Rattata burrows. Something had to sleep on this route....

Garnet smiled cheerfully as her companion, a small Pidgey, perched on her shoulder. She strolled on the route excitedly, unlke before. Before she met Asayake, she was always timid, and friendless. Garnet still was a little timid, but it comforted her to know that she had a feathery friend around her to keep her company.
Asayake glanced at Garnet with her black, beady eyes. "Pidge..." she squawked quietly.
Garnet reached over and pat the Pidgey gently. "We'll have many adventures, you and I...won't we?"
Asayake chirped in agreement.

Pat and Mikage made it to route 2
Mikage jumped on Pat's shoulder and licked his face
Pat patted Mikages face " well we made it this far..lets not hurry lets take in all the buetiful scenery."
Mikage nodded in agreement
Mikage and Pat thendcided lets sit down for some lunch, so they took out their blanket and some food from their backpack, and began to eat under the clear sky.
"wow its so nice out" Pat smiled
"Veeveevee" Mikage added
"the food sure is good what is it....
Pat looked on the can to see that it was Mikage's pokemon food
"....... EWWWW" yelled Pat"this is weird i thought it was some kind of human edible meat
Mikage just smiled
after that little fiasco the pair decided to head to Viridian Forest and got there in about an hour

Sao hummed as the three walked down the path of route two. Eki had taken to walking next to Iselia so that he could squeek his toy at Sukebi.
Tori flew off of Sao's shoulder and circled around them, feeling that he needed to stretch his wings a bit.

Glancing down at the squeaking charmander, Sukebi grabs her stick and hops out of Iselia's arms, then procedes to swing the stick at Eki. Hard.
Ignoring the pokemon's antics for the most part, Iselia pulls the other pokeball off her wrist, looking at it appraisingly.
"I've still not even named the little guy. I'll have to let him out later, I suppose. I hope he and Sukebi get along fine."

Eki's eyes went wide as Sukebi swung the stick at him. He was almost caught off guard and so the stick grazed his leg as he hopped back. Eki growled at Sukebi and set his squeeky toy on the ground. He jumped foward at Sukebi and scratched at her.
Sao looked back at the two and sweat-dropped, they looked angry at eachother.
"Uh.... you think we should do something?"

Blinking in confusion, Iselia turns to follow Sao's gaze. She rolls her eyes, and calls out to Sukebi.
"That's not very nice, eh? And you know that a fire-type could lay a smackdown on you in five seconds flat, right? Now be nice or it's back to your pokeball."
Grumbling at her trainer, and glaring at Eki, Sukebi drops her stick and carefully licks at the little scratches on her leg that Eki had inflicted.
"Bulba... Saur bulba..."

Eki looked satisfied and picked up his squeeky toy, then ran back to Sao's side after giving a last squeek.
Sao sighed, wondering if those two would ever get along.
"Eki, behave yourself or I'll put you in your pokeball."
Eki growled at Sao but obeyed.

After watching carefully to make sure that Sukebi was following her closely rather than bothering Eki, Iselia returns her gaze to the pokeball in her hands.
Still muttering under her breath, Sukebi follows at Iselia's heels, occasionally shooting Eki a nasty glare.

Sao looked back at Iselia as she was peering at her pokeball.
"So, what did you catch?"
Eki glares right back at Sukebi and squeeks his toy.

Iselia looks up at Sao, startled slightly.
"Oh, this little guy? He's a rattata. Took a nasty chunk out of Suke by knocking her into a rock. I've not even come up with a name for him yet."
In response to the squeak, Sukebi brandishes her stick threateningly.

"A chunk huh? Interesting... Must be a fighter then." Sao smiled, then looked up at the sky to see where Tori was.
Eki smiles mischeiviously with his eyes and brandishes his tail. Then lets out a little belch of fire from his mouth.

"Yeah, I'd think so. I just hope that he and Suke get along reasonably well."
She tosses the ball from hand to hand idly, and follows Sao's gaze upwards.
"Is that your other one up there?"
Growling, Sukebi not-so-subtley digs her feet into the loose ground and kicks up a cloud of dust at Eki.
(( Bulbasaur doesn't learn sand-attack, but I figure that since this isn't a battle or anything then it's a bit looser. ))
