Angels incarnate, what is your opinion? Angel sightings have occured from all over the world, some of them physical in nature; some individuals even believe they
are incarnated angels in human form, dulled and muted from their original being.
Before we really begin the discussion maybe I should lay the cards on the table. I will define the terms as to how I (and others concerned with this topic) see them.
Incarnate: The dictionary defines incarnation as
embodied in human form. There are several people who claim to be incarnates of various beings, Krishna and Jesus being two of the most famous. The word "reincarnate" has roots in this term.
Angel: My definition is very religious in nature. A more "specified" being of celestial, created by or bound to God or a god for its purpouse, not necesarially good in nature, and not necesarially evil, they exist purely to execute their Creator's wishes. Like I said, religious, but in my personal experience, it has not proven to be untrue.
Fallen Angel: A former servent to God or a god who has fallen out of standing with their Creator, through any way, disobeying an order, going against their personal nature, or the Nature of God. Some sources describe Fallen Angels as former spiritual beings forced to reincarnate physically.
Incarnate Angels are those individuals who claim to be servents of a god, more commonly, of the Most High, incarnated from spiritual into human form. A member of
Otherkin Alliance explains his experience in an article, detailing issues ranging from power-binds on the soul to his percieved reason for the colour of wings, or lack thereof.
This phenomenon is by no means a recent occurance, as angels in physical form have been documented as far back as 490 BC, (
Source.) and also in the Bible. (Gen 32:22-32, Luke 24:4) It is also backed up by the non-canonical book of Enoch.
Recently, as with the rise in exposure of the (mainly online) community of "otherkin" (those who believe to be spiritually non-human, incarnated into human bodies), more and more people are claiming or realising they are Incarnated Angels.
What do you think on this subject; is it possible? How does it fit in with how you view angels as a whole; would they even incarnate at all, per or against God's wishes? What does it mean for the rest of humanity; does it herald something to come, or are we simply gathering more information for it than before? Are these people mad, or are they sincere and true in their beliefs? What does it mean for you as an individual; does it affect your walk with the god of your choice (if any), or with yourself?
