So in my art history class today, we were looking at some artwork from the early 1500's. I wasn't paying the closest attention, but I look up and see:

The piece is called "Hare" and is by A. Durer. All I know is the first word in my mind was "bunny!" which immediately made me think "WD!" xd So here I think would be a good thread dedicated to other artists from history who have made rabbits or at least included them in their work.
Durer also has another piece of "Adam and Eve" which includes a rabbit. It is meant to represent one of the four temperments (Wiki if you don't understand) as blood. Rabbit? Blood? Fitting... especially for Watership Down xd

GAH! *glomp attack*
My grandpa has a print of this in his house. Whenever I walked past it it makes me turn round and stare at it for ages. xD Reminds me of my grandpa sweatdrop

It's a beautiful painting. I wish I had the ability to be that detailed with my work. I just don't have the time... if only money wasn't a staple of the world. I would totally waste my time making art like this 3nodding

I'm nowhere near as good as this but if I didn't have so much school work I'd draw and improve all the time. sweatdrop This is an amazing and beautiful piece though! 3nodding I might have to steal it from him ninja xD

Oh that one of my favorite pictures, the detail in the fur is just beautiful. I've wanted to draw it for awhile but I haven't had the time *sigh* Glade it's so appreciated by you two as well.
