Detention Center "Oh, looks like they haven't brought him out yet. I wonder what this Kyou person is like?" Maya wondered, looking around the all-too-familiar detention center. She frowned a bit, remembering what it was like the couple of times she had been wrongfully accused of murder. "Well, I guess we're about to find out, huh Nick. But he's got to be innocent. His uncle Shigure believed in him so much." She nodded matter-of-factly.

"Judging by the proclaming of his innocence, I would say so." Phoenix agreed, taking a seat in front of the window that separated him and his client and listening to the shouting.
"He sure does sound like a loose cannon, doesn't he?" He said, recalling Shigure's earlier statement about his nephew's behavior.

Suddenly the door bashed open with a guard trying to hold back a suspecious man in orange with a spike like hairdo.
"AHH INNOCENT!" he was shouting and managed to break free and ran into Wright.
"AHH Nick, IT WAS AWFUL, THEY KEEP ASKING ME QUESTIONS, I DIDN"T KILL ANYONE. YOU GOTTA SAVE ME NICK!" He was shouting while sobbing uncontrollably.

Phoenix was in shock. "Uh, Larry, we're actually here on another case... Wait, you're not involved with the Sohma family incident at all, are you?" He asked.
Larry, as Phoenix well knew, always had a way of getting involved in the worst situtaions, most them usually involving murder. And most of the time he really didn't have anything useful to contribute, either.
"When somthing smells, it's usually the Butz." Phoenix thought, But in this case it most certainly couldn't be Larry if Kyou's uncle asked us to represent him...

Larry gave a thumbs up and said, "Well you see they had this job opening at this place and they needed someone to clean it up for them." He then pointed to himself with his right thumb, "so I thought to place in an application to that place but..." Then he looked around with sort of a sweat, "... I kinda forgot what happened but then police began to question what had happened, something about, A MURDER!"
He then broke down sobbing again holding onto Phoenix's suit, "Ya gotta save me Nick! I think they think I did it! They keep asking me if I had seen the murderer looked like, but I don't remember!"

"...Larry, um, did you witness a murder?" Maya asked kindly. It seemed to her like they were trying to get him to testify as a witness, not as a defendant...

"Like I said I don't remember!" then he stopped to think for a bit, "though they were asking questions to other poeple, namely the lovely Miss. Honda..." then he went back to panic, "They don't think she killed whoever did she Nick?"
In the meanwhile the detention guard was standing like a statue, what an ideal officer!

Phoenix gently pried Larry off of his suit, smoothing out the wrinkles he had left. Larry sure could get exited easily.
"Larry, you have to calm down." Phoenix said gently. "I don't think they're trying to say you did it here, in fact we're here to talk to the real person they think it was right now, and no it isn't this 'Miss Honda' person. I think what the police want you to do is be a witness. That's all." He smiled.
Trying to get Larry to relax was a huge task sometimes.

"Oh really," he seemed to be in control of himself for a moment.
"Hey you! Come with us we need you for questioning!" the nice police officer said while he and 2 others began to pull him back into the room.
"AhhHhhh! Nick help meeeeee!" one could hear as the door shut behind them.

"Just relax Larry, you'll be fine!" Phoenix called after his friend just before the door closed on them.
Then he turned to Maya. "Well, that was... strange. Anyway, we'd better ask about our client, that's what we're here for."
