My daughter is 13 and she hasnt done anything like that, woot !! but there are so many girls (and boys) out there cutting, I worry that she may as she gets older, it scares the bejeebus outta me. I hope she knows that she can come to me about anything. Lord knows I have ressured her she can at anytime, about anything, no matter what.

when i was younger i had friends that were in to that cutting them selves or even burning them selves but i never did it,i wish you the best of luck with getting her help,but she will prolly grow out of it,my friends did!

My sister is a cutter and burner I know it has alot to do with my mom who is not right in the head to begin with (and if she ever saw this post would be mad but it's true) she put my youngest sister before me or my other sister and treated my brother the worse. My sister denies the cutting and burning to this day but all you have to do is look at her arms and stomack and so on to see she suposubly asidentaly get's burned all the time and she dosn't even smoke.
I cut myself once when I was 18 realy bad with a razor blade I hit rock botom and couldn't find my way out. I did it so bad that I scared the living crap out of myself the next day when I settled down enogh to realize what I had done that I never did it agan. Of course the worst part of the thought was ending up like my sister. Who to this day I belive still does it but I can't do anything about it she's in her late twintys now and I live a long way from her.
