The Always loyal Kenshu had taken it upon himself to set out in search of others who might need his help. A Knight in blood red feathers, he was always doing what was right, and seemed to accept the role of defender.
But lately, he had been short on things to save.. He had run across a rabbit earlier... and it had taken everything in his large body not to eat the creature.
He found no sport in hunting the ill. He liked to hunt the strong. Why not? If he died from teh fight, then he died doing what he was good at.. So why not take risks?
His red wings flew through the sky, as he blackened eyes hit the Oasis. A small lake, surrounded by a few choice trees. They were so rare here.. that he had been in search of this one all night. Finally.. Something to give him some hope in life.
He curled in his wings, and started to descend.

 Under the cool shade of a tree growing near the shore of the lake, perched in the high branchs, Adjo was dozing the day away. Already having taken down a rabbit earlier that morning, he decided to be a bit lazy and just rest the rest of the day away. He had his body perched down low, head swiveled back and eyes closed.

Sparticus spread his wings, creating a parachute and landing gracefully on the still sandy terrain. He had no idea how Oasis's existed.. But surely there was some reason or some kind of explaination for the area..
Not that he minded. It gave a dim relief of the sandy life. Though he wouldnt complain of his life either. Boy oh boy did he like him some sand..
But the water was nothing to scoff at.
He dipped his head, pulling some into his beak, and perking his head back up, making sure to keep an eye out for anyone who might surprise him..In the good, or bad way.

The first indication that Adjo was woken up was by the lifting of the crest on his head and then he slowly lifted his head and swiveled it forward. He slowly blinked his violet eyes open and then stretched out his wings, flapping them as he stretched himself. He opened his beak to yawn and then snapped it shut.

Sparticus heard the noises from the creature.. He had whipped his head and body around to face the source of the noise, and his ebony eyes caught hold and stared directly at the lavender ones of the other.
He flapped his wings, and stood tall and proud, his own crest standing just a bit.
"You there! Who goes there?"

Adjo tensed up and looked to who called him and he flapped his wings to make his way down to the ground. Standing tall, he folded his wings back down and looked to the new avian with wary eyes, "I could ask you the same thing stranger..."

He poofed his feathers up, and made his voice proud as he spoke.
"I am Sparticus, I hail from-.." He looked back at the other, and then looked to the sky.. He almost looked like he couldnt remember.
Then he grinned.
"Well I seem to have forgotten.."

Adjo fluffed up his own feathers, still standing tall, but when he saw the other seem to...deflate..when he couldn't remember where he was from, he calmed down and allowed his crest to fold back down along his head. He waddled on closer, wanting a drink of water, "That's not surprising. I am not quite sure where I am from either, but I call this place home." he said with a nod.
