After about one week the eggs will crack open and a little hatchling will then crawl from inside the shell, staying close to their orb. Two to three weeks after the little dragon first crawls from the egg, they are no longer hatchlings, but slightly bigger young and have turned their shrinking orb into a necklace. Two to three months later the young will become a fully grown adult dragons dragon, their orb not a part of them.
The sacred orb that they keep with them gradually decreases in size as they age. Ranging from a large ball to be pushed around as a hatchling, and a large necklace pendant for the young. As adults however, the orb fuses with their body no longer required to be carried around. The orbs provide slight magical gifts that increase as they age.
