Hawksong really keeps you turning the pages.
Of all the events that take place, what moment in the book excited(s) you most?

For me, that event took place in the start of chapter five; when Zane approaches Danica in her tent (after the first council meeting between their two peoples).
It opens up a window for everything that happens. It revels how intertwined their existences have already been. And, it's VERY sensual.

Sensual is always nice. I like writing sensual scenes.
I liked when Danica stumbled upon Adelina and Zane together. It felt that was the first time you really saw that Danica was falling for him, and Zane pushing Adelina away showed that he really had feelings for her in return.
But that's just my opinion right now. Tomorrow, or maybe in an hour, I could have a different favorite scene.

My favorite was the part where Danica comforted Zane after his mother's death. It was just too CUTE!! And way to short too...

Oh Lord, I had so many favorite parts... xD
One of them was definitely when Danica saw Zane cry, like Gemmetra said. It really showed how she had made it over the wall between her and Zane. Another was during the scene where Danica is announcing Zane is her alistair, because I think the speech she makes is very true and pure. Oh! And the part where Danica goes to see Zane in his room after they spoke with her mother, because it just demonstrates the fragile nature of the peace, but also that Zane and Danica truly want the war to end.
Woo, I think I'm done now. xD

I have to pull out just one? It was near the start, but when Danica was singing to the dying Serpentine, I just felt it was very brave of her. It is early but still.

I just re-read it today, and I have to say my favorite part was the bit when Danica went to see Zane, and Adelina and her brother 'captured' her. The way Zane got angry at that- it gives you a sense of him as a real character, not just as the bogeyman of the avians. Before I think he's kind of one-dimensional, sort of threatening and seductive and suggestive and generally not in a good way, but that scene makes me see him as more of a 'human being', if you'll excuse the term. His sense of honour and justice makes him more real to me. Also, I think it's probably the first sign that he's falling for her, and that's sweet.

I really like the moment where they are in the bedroom together at the end of the book. It's really cute, but very sensual at the same time.
