Hehe, thanks Gaia for that.

By the way, here's my sis' reaction to watching HAARP:

Hysterics
Hysterics
My dad got mad because of the noise we made
Hysterics
Headbanger for her
And "Oh I wish I was there", with me replying "No way, you go panicking in the crowd"

xD

[Wall of text warning!]

GUESS WHAT'S LYING IN FRONT OF ME RIGHT NOW
QUIET AND SOLEMN IN ITS SURPREME AWESOMENESS
[It's not Matt. Damn, I wish.]
It's the DVD [special edition!] =D
I got it this morning ^-^ I asked the woman who worked in the store if they had it yet, she didn't know, checked the computer and said they only had the CD. On the inside I was like 'o.o you're lying. you just want it for yourself, don't you?' Then she checked again on a different computer and luckily they DID have it.
Then we had a somewhat unexpected but nice conversation about how awesome Muse is live - she said she'd seen them four times :0 I was jealous lawl. But she was jealous of me when I said I was going to V cool Sadly our conversation was ended when a guy came to the counter and asked if there was a plastic bag somewhere because he needed to puke... Yeah. :l Weirdest thing that ever happened to me in a CD store... but oh well.
Oh my, is this some sort of a review...?:
I've only listened to the CD and watched the 'Making of' so far because I want to watch the DVD with friends :] The 'Making of' was a bit short though... 12 minutes? And Wembley footage only? The BH&R tour lasted for ages, no Hullabaloo-ish scenes this time [Dom and Matt in the shower maybe ;D]? I did love the bit where they got lifted up on the thingy and Dom said he was creeped out & nervous x3
And since I'm whining anyway: there'd better be some sort of treasure hunt attached to this, 'cause the 'special online content' is only the possiblilty to download the whole DVD for iPod - for free. No extra songs or footage, no Citizen Erased, no Bliss, no City of Delusion. Also there aren't a lot of Showbiz/OoS songs. I expected... a bit more.
*BUT I STILL WANT MOAR~ WITH DA CUTS N DA BRUISEZZ~* xD
I do however, as stated above, still need to watch the DVD - I'm guessing [hoping!] it'll be glorious. ;D

EDIT: I sound too negative. It's not that I don't love the DVD/CD, I do! It's just that it could've been so much better.

I wants it. Nao.
I mean, ability to download it to an iPod is good enough for me. It means I can have live (visual) Muse EVERYWHERE.
I hope we're getting the special edition in Australia.

And yeah, as for the special features, I wanted something Hullabaloo-esque, and I knew we weren't getting it. >.< Sure, the CD's great...but I wanted moar.

And lack of Citizen Erased/Bliss makes me sad and angry. XD.

i love it!

When the woman at the store didn't want to give it to me I was attacking her. Really!

By the way, I still don't get what HAARP shoud mean...

Yeah... but I guess they're past the 'rock'n roll life-stage' now, unfortunately ._.
I'm listening to the Hullabaloo CD right now and it just seems so much more... passionate [I know I've said it before, but whatever]! Compare the two Microcuts-es, you'll hear it. D:
I think... I think I'd rather have gone to le Zenith or Montreux than Wembley. Sure, they're technically better these days, the venues are bigger and the shows overwhelming. But there's something missing in the Microcuts of the Wembley CD; it lacks some of that raw energy and heartfelt emotion they did have before. That's my controversial statement for today ;]

@ pepero4emperor: 'HAARP' stands for 'High frequency Active Auroral Research Program'. It's a station on Alaska where they send signals and s**t up in the ionosphere.
That's the non-conspiracy version: lots of people believe it's a station used for manipulating the weather [tsunamis and global warming for example] and mind-control. Unsurprisingly, it seems that Muse share this belief. :]

What is it with me and my walls of text today? D:

Damn you, Muse, getting old...

It doesn't mean I love them any less. They're still amazing.
Kind of wish I'd been a fan back in the day of Showbiz and OoS and Hullabaloo. Then again, I would've been under 10. >.<
*wishes she was older*
I'm sure it will be awesome, though. I still only have the, erm, pirated CD because IT HASN'T BEEN RELEASED IN AUSTRALIA YET, HAS IT?
Apparently it comes out on Friday. Good Friday? WTF?
I'm so going to go home via the city tomorrow after my French exam just to run in to JB Hi-Fi and be like "OMG I CAN HAS HAARP NAO PLZ???" XD.

Thaks for the explanation biggrin

I agree with you. I saw the Hullabaloo DVD just after the HAARP one, and it's just like... I don't know how to explain it, let's say that Hullabaloo thrilled me more. (But Dom looks better in HAARP xd )
As Invincible Cydonian Creep said, they're getting older.

Dom's improving with age.

Actually, he looks more like a schoolboy now. D'awww.

It wasn't at the CD store today. Although mum's like "okay, on Saturday you can go and get the Muse CD, as long as you get Graham (my stepdad)'s easter egg while you're there.

Oh well, maybe we'll appreciate HAARP more when we're 29/30 and think 'Hullabaloo...? Geez, that was so depressing and wannabe-rock'n roll.' ;D
And yeah. Dom's awesomeness graph is going up faster and faster, it's still under Matt's even though his may be going down a little...? Don't hate haha. It would help if he stopped cutting his hair every two weeks. Let it GROW first! D:
