I'm always making up a lot of one-liners to shoot my friends to cheer them up and little expressions that I think hold soem measure of wisdom in them. So, now I have a place to put them. Feel free to add any of your own.
Try to include the author if possible if it's a quote; if it doesn't have a registered author, write "Anonymous". If you've forgotten the author, please write "unknown".
For a collection of "pick me up" quotes, I have a lot of them on my profile. Have your window maximized though or they scrunch up together and are hard to read. I've been meaning to add a bunch too, so if you like them check in on the profile every now and again. ^^

One of my favourite Houseisms EVER.
House: He was hit by a bullet!
Cameron: Someone shot him?
House: No, they threw it at him.
And this next one was by me, trying to describe what I thought about when I heard the following line from Romeo and Juliet.
-"Let two more years wither in their pride/ and I'll think her ripe to be a bride."
I'm terribly sorry if I messed that up, but I don't have the book anymore..
So anyways, I was trying to say how when I heard the word "ripe" I thought of a fruit, and how I thought that was wierd, since they were talking about love and stuff.
"You don't love a fruit... you eat it."
And of course, my entire table group (and the teacher) looks at me with the classic "you're insane" look. Whoo, wasn't that a fun class. XD

My science teacher has a whole crapload of quotes around the chalkboard. I think by now I must have read them all; they're all really awesome. My favourite ones are:
