It irks me.
I used to be catholic when I was younger, and now Im christian.
There are many things that upset me about that.. cult..
But this one just today.
I saw it on my gmas catholic tv channel.
"You shall receive all that you ask of me by the recitation of the rosary."
WTF.
Rly. WWWWTTTFFFFF.
Its like, I want a million dollars.
So Ill recite the rosary a million times, and you will give me a million dollars!
Srsly. By that standard, just by reciting the rosary, (not even praying it) you will get what you selfishly ask for.
Wow. Now if thats not messed up, I dont know what is.

that doesnt mean wat you think
Jesus said that to a pesant when he asked him for bread
the pesant prayed the rosary and he got mad cause nothing happenned
Jesus told him to pray again, so he did and this time he looked out his window and saw wheat starting to grow in his feild
this means that God doesnt answer the prayers of the greedy, only those with pure intention

look i'm a catholic. the way i see it, you can't take everything said at church literally, it all has a second meaning. but that's just me.
