Jinzouki's Fitness Log
Height: 5' 8.5" - 5' 9" Current Weight: 155-158 (fluctuates some days depending on if I ate a plate dinner the day before) Desired Weight: 145
Goal Date: before May 16 August 8th or ASAP! o.O
I usually write this down on sticky notes (mostly calorie counting) But I decided to make a thread of it, support/tips are always handy biggrin Mostly I just wanna lose the last bit of fat I got in trouble areas and tone up, you know get a beach body wink I wanna do this before the beach season and a special event get here (mostly the latter at my goal date) and I've been on my own program for a while but I dunno doesn't seem to be going fast enough lately (though I recently added gym, before its been mostly all diet). The weight loss is kinda stalling nowadays and just fluctuating between 155-158 since like December rolleyes
I mean since 2003 I went down from 256 pounds but I just want to finish it off already, this is what I do almost daily (except on weekends, except for the keeping on a diet part), I go to the gym and do the following: Bicyle for 20-30 minutes then depending on the day work out a specific part of the body (upper, mid, lower though I always try to work out mid body with the machine they have since I want to get an edge from it and it has barely any variety or anything that can affect the sides >_<)
As for my daily eating habits I start Monday-Friday as such: Morning- Special K with a bit of milk (enough to cover 1 cup of the cereal which I'd say is 1/2 cup) then I try to eat every 3-5 hours, depending on what I got, and keeping the entire day between 1,500 to under 2,000 calories if possible.
Weekends vary but usually have this plan if I stay home unless my family goes out in which then I usually eat stuff that's not fried and usually half of a plate (since restaurants usually give you enough for seconds)
I only started going to the gym like 2 weeks ago (and even then not every day since I was sore between days) and I could only go Monday of this past week since the rest of the week was wrapped up in Family Business >_< Am I on the right path? I just hope I haven't hit a fitness plateau again, it drove me crazy when I was 165ish-160 around the last few months of last year surprised
Just gotta add I drink alot of diet soda or seltzer water (in order to keep flavor in my mouth and not tempt me into getting something sweet) and selectively eat fast food sometimes (like stuff under a certain amount of calories and fat like to get either chicken soft tacos with fresco salsa instead of cheese and sour cream from Taco Bell or Chili with cheese at Wendy's or subway sandwiches in their special menu). I avoid McDonald's like the plague since the only healthy thing there is the water rofl
Edit 5/22/08 : I no longer eat fast food, selectively or not, since like a month or two ago, maybe like once in a blue moon when they give something away for free. Only think remotely fast food that I eat is Subway o_o Also I mix it up most of the time, I have no set things I eat but still try to keep it under 2k calories every day 3nodding Added either Hip Hop Abs and/or Pushups & Jumping Jacks to my daily routine as of late 3nodding

It's May 17th, and though the scale gives me crazy numbers (between 155 and 160 depending on days). I can however fit into size 30 pants and Medium shirts though I see I can still get rid of visible body fat which I want to so I can get ripped before August 8th which is the new date since I won't be attending the event I had planned for this weekend but a new one then. I am most likely gonna invest on a new scale since what I got obviously is malfunctioning plus I must've gained muscles, I've been working out on a Total Gym recently 3nodding I'm gonna try to use Hip Hop abs I downloaded recently see if I can get a good workout with that. Anyone ever used this program? surprised

I finally see some budging in the scale. 154 whee Still need to get a new scale since I still kinda think this one may be busted -_-

Dropped a bit more weight, now down to about 152. Still about 7 pounds from my goal of 145 pounds surprised I am also adding, I no longer eat fast food whatsoever, except subway like on average once every 1 1/2 weeks or less. Just kinda got tired of it I guess sweatdrop

Finally have seen some progress, now I'm down to 148. 3 pounds away from my goal of 145 whee Guess I gotta hang in there I'll make it to 145 soon.
