The other day when I was cleaning my house and listening to my music, I heard a song that kind of reminded me of Seregil and Alec's relationship. That got me thinking that we should have a playlist of "Theme Songs" for the Night Runner series! We can post the lyrics of songs we think fit into the story here, and if we're extra nice, we can even give links to places you can listen to the songs. One great place to listen to music is projectplaylist.com, btw.
The song that made me think of Seregil and Alec was Make Me Over, by Lifehouse. Here are the lyrics:

I thought the chorus was especially fitting of their relationship for Alec, who was originally a country bumpkin who didn't know much of the world besides the woods and what his father taught him. When he met Seregil, that all completely changed and he turned into a skilled, sophistocated spy. He sought Seregil's approval and tried to find a place in his eyes and mind, with success.

This is such a good idea!! I was thinking of the song Greensleeve as a theme song because well its based in the Nightrunner times and it kinda reminds of the Street Of Lights and Nightrunner. The lyrics are make you remember the Street Of Lights but the music makes you remember Nigtrunner. lol. did that make sense?

This is a great idea! I never really associated any songs with Seregil and Alec, but now that you've pointed that out, I can see it. I've had a song stuck in my head that reminded me of two other people from the Nightrunner series for a while now. (If you don't know who Nyal is, than I advise that you don't read the rest of my post!!)
The song Empty Space by Lifehouse reminds me of Beka and Nyal. Here it is (sorry about how long it is):

The chorus in particular reminds me of how Nyal is always telling Beka that she's beautiful, but she always tells him to not say that. Yet Nyal keeps telling her that she's beautiful and amazing. So sweet!

As corny as it may be, I think Sakura's song "You Are My Love" from Tsubasa Chronicle fits with Seregil and Alec ^^

Hmmm...well i was listening to music last night and one of my all time favourites was on the list of songs i was listening to and so i suggest "Cos I Love You" by North.

I like the idea of "It's Not My Time" for the Watchers. The turmoil they face after Nysander's fate, and how they pick themselves up afterwards is what makes this song appropriate. No matter the odds, the Watchers will never give up, or abandon their duty or their comrades.

I've always imagined the Mission: Impossible theme playing in the background whenever someone (usually Seregil and/or Alec) is getting up to something sneaky.
