look familiar? it's called the rubin figure.


you see a white vase in the foreground, and a solid background.

who's to say that there is an actual form in the background? it's just an allusion.

i just thought that was interesting.

illusion.

and it could be argued that there is no foreground either. there is no form, just lines.

In theory lines are circles. Thus encompasing that it does and
does not have form.
