(can't believe there isn't a place to discuss this)
Alright, so I may not post up any fanfiction, but I read it like I breath nitrogen (which is in the air wink ) anyways.....
I enjoy several fandoms that I read on a regular basis: Marvel Universe(X-men, Spider-man, X-men: Evolution, Ultimate Avengers, Iron Man, and Thor), Star Wars (specific story types - none during movies unless they take on Darth Maul, C3P-O, or an Ewok POV which can be interesting reads), Four Brothers (need more in this fandom but it at least isn't ruled by mindless ragging fans for fans sake like some), Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, .Hack//, Outlaw Star, Vampire Game, Beauty Pop, DNAngel (sometimes), FMA (only if NO OC's or strange pairings, and even then I'm very, very picky with the storyline and timelines because I truly think the anime and manga are perfect and don't need changing), Kingdom Hearts (just no slash), Skip-Beat, Ultra Maniac, Marmalade Boy, Gundam Wing (love GW crossovers too!), and strangely enough I will read a fic of Deltora Quest - though really, there are no holes with that series, you just wish she hadn't stopped writing - but hey, the after stories and the pov oneshots during the books are fun to read, so yeah.
okay so I read a lot and yes - I am picky. If I choose to read something for readings sake, trust me I am very,very selective so if I ever read yours without a request - feel special.
I request read though, as long as I know the fandom. How would you know, well obviously the above and you can ask. - seriously I'm nice about saying no, and usually I feel bad about it so I go and find someone who is a fan to read it instead.
So yeah, that's me and my fanfic reading interests. How about everyone else??

Fire Emblem is my most favorite 4laugh . I also read Secret/Legend of Mana, some Kingdom Hearts, Kiesha'ra, I've looked through Fairy Tales and Greek Mythology a few times out of boredom, Radiata Stories, and I've begun looking through Odin Sphere even though I haven't finished the game yet. I simply couldn't resist. There are a few others in the video game section I'll scan over if I feel like it, but not very often. I read a few stories in misc. books too.
I absolutely refuse to read yaoi, yuri, or anything else of the sort. And unfortunatly, some of my favorite fandoms have more than enough of that.

My main fandoms are Harry Potter, Inuyasha, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but it's not unheard of for me to read Naruto or other random anime stories.
I can say I won't read yaoi, but I do happen to enjoy yuri once in a while, as long as it's believable and well written. Most of it that I have found is utter crap.
I tend to be rather picky with what I will read. If I don't find it particularly well written, more often that not the story won't grab my attention and I won't read it.

I haven't read anything in quite a while, but when I had the time for it I often would look at the "Just In" list to see if anything sounded interesting. I found many cute one-shots in doing so.
I will not read yaoi or the like, which makes finding decent work in many categories quite a challenge (ex. FF7).
Mostly, what I read is quite random -- just look at my favorites list. With the exception of the overwhelming amount of Tales of Symphonia, the rest is a few select works from a handful of different fandoms: Zelda, King of Bandit Jing, Bleach, Fushig Yugi, Rayearth, I even have one about Minesweeper!
What I read the most is, obviously, Tales of Symphonia and I'm always searching for a good fic about those illustrious Shinra employees (non-yaoi, of course T.T)!

I'm not really into yaoi and yuri. I don't hate it, and I don't disapprove of it either - I just can't connect to it.
--To Umi Celes: I love the Marmalade Boy manga, but I've never come across any good fanfics. You seem to be very good at making your selections. Know any good Marmalade fics off the top of your head that I might be interested in?

Myself, I always enjoy Beyblade fics. That show was my favorite when I was younger. Looking back, I just scratch my head as to why, lol. Oh well. The characters are so diverse and fun to write with, that there are numerous really good stories on FF. I also enjoy FMA fics, and Bleach. I've recently started reading Cowboy Bebop stories, and so far so good!
I like reading yaoi, as some are very well written. I'm not sure why people hate it so much. Some of the best stories I've read have been yaoi. If it's not meant to be, though, I don't read. My favorite genre's have to be Action/adventure, drama, and some horror and angst.

I read the fandoms of fanfiction I know, or am a fan of. I'm not going around, and reading fanfics about a fandom I've never heard of or ever seen.
[My favorite fandom to read fanfics for, is Samurai Champloo. (MugenFuu!!)]

I'm not sure I read from particular fandoms. Mostly I just browse the categories (typically movies and tv shows) and then look for stories for movies or tv shows I'm familiar with. With the book category, it's got to be a book I really liked (IE, not HP). Usually the books I like the most are fairly obscure, so there's not a whole lot of fanfic for those.
I don't even look at the anime category. Comics, it rather depends. For instance after I saw the Ironman Movie, i looked at some of the stories there.

I read several fandoms, and mainly on request, so often you should just ask me if I know about the fandom or not.
My favorites:
Star Wars
.Hack//
Harry Potter
Fullmetal Alchemist
and
x-men: evolution
I'm not big on video games, but If I do read them they are usually Star Ocean, FF, or Kingdom Hearts. I would love to find a Lego game fanfic somewhere though.
If I've seen a movie I could read the fanfic to it, same with the anime/manga so long as I found it mildly interesting.
Even if you don't know the fandom well, go ahead and read a fic now and then, you'll be able to help the author focus on their writing skills. Tell them if you understood the plot, the character's motivations and thoughts, and of course check their grammar.
At least that is what I try to do, when I have the spare time.

i used to read a ton of kingdom hearts fanfiction because its the fandom i write for, but lately i really havent.
ive been reading mostly tsubasa fics.

You could say I almost read all of whatever catches my eye. But first and foremost, I have a tendency towards Final Fantasy, the Xeno series, just a touch of Kingdom Hearts, pretty much game fandoms.
I'm tempted to read into Supernatural since that's my favorite TV show at the moment. And I guess I should expand my horizons and try an anime one someday...

I read all kinds, actually. Even sometimes fandoms I don't know, just to find that one awesome story. However, I do enjoy reading fandoms that usually don't have that many stories. Things like Air Gear, Off*Beat, Beauty Pop, High School Debut, S.A etc. and I try my best to actually contribute to them but sometimes, it just doesn't happen.
More popular titles though, I do like to read Fruits Basket, Tales of (pretty much anything), Shaman King and other series as well =)
But there are no limits to the fandoms I read, haha. I just like finding that one good story (as stated already)

Fairly Oddparents (my guilty pleasure, heh, heh), and Utawarerumono. Seriously. Those are my only two fandoms. On FF.net, one could go as far as to calling me the Mommy of the Utawarerumono Archive.

Tamora Pierce. Basically all I read.
Occasionally I will read a Harry Potter fic.
I found a Star Wars on I like.... but I dislike Star Wars/Trek-y fic's
And if I'm bored I just go through titles until one catches my eye, and I read it.
