I don't know if I'm wrong but I'm feeling a bit bent out of shape at the moment and have been for some time. I was a moderator in another guild and was demodded for no reason that I'm aware of. So now I'm wondering if I should say something or just hold my peace... I'm still in the guiild of course, its just I'm wondering if I should ask why or should I just try not to be agitated by it even though they have replaced me with less competant people.

It would have been polite for them to have said something to you, give you a reason.
Probably wouldn't hurt to send a PM to the captain and find out. Hopefully it was an accident, or reasonable (too many Mods, not enough activity...)

I considered that, sending the captain a PM, of course he's rarely around anyway (and he's an ex boyfriend), and the co-captain, well I don't know, I don't want to appear to be whining.

the ex-boyfriend thing might be a good reason
depends on if you were able to maintain a reasonable friendship afterwards and if his potential new partner is the jealous type.

Oddly enough he tends to keep in touch with all of his ex's except the really bad break ups. But of course I'm not the only moderator who was also an ex-girlfriend since we can maintain a friendship and we value his so we're all still friends, so I doubt that had anything to do with it. As for his current love life, well he hasn't felt the desire to share that with me so I don't know about that. He tends to be kind of secretive (scorpio!).
