I pretty much will listen to any type of music though some genre's I like better the others. I can quickly get tired of listening to classical, jazz, blues, elevator music, and some techno music.

lol, Elevator music. Or music from the Weather Channel.
I like most music, but for me, it is more about the actual melody, regardless of lyrical value. I especially like Classic Rock, bands like KISS and Led Zepplin are among my favorites.

I prefer Korn, ACDC, and a few other rock bands..Although when it comes to genres, I'm pretty much okay with everything except most country and some rap.

Personally, I think the lyrics are nearly everything in music, though the melody is important too. If a song has bad lyrics imo, it's mostly a deal breaker, though even if it has good lyrics, but it sounds bad then that's a bit of a deal breaker too
Least favorite song: "flash..lights" because they hold no lyrical value

I've got to agree with you on that one, Guth. I like a lively rhythm most of the time, but if the lyrics are on the abusive side, or just downright depressing, it definitely doesn't get downloaded to my ipod or my computer.

But that is when instrumental, non-lyrical versions of songs really show whether or not a song is truly music. If the lyrics suck, then try listening to the song without them. It may end up being quite amazing.
