Kay, um, great. Spiccato. I have no trouble with a moderately tempo'ed spiccato, but it's bouncing faster than that where my bow tends to go all flaccid and soon, it's just a plain old arco stroke. I use too much of my arm and my bow is pretty crap. Has anyone else played the Csardas? If you have, how did you go about in the spiccato passages?

I beagn to play the Csardas many years ago and I still play it on the streat, for family, for people who want to hear me... I just don't think about how I did the spiccato. It just go's, I don't know how exacly. I just let the bow jump.

It just go''s, I don''t know how exacly. I just let the bow jump. Yeah, sometimes I have good spiccato days, sometimes not. The problem is that I move my arm and don''t yet know how to use my rest for the spiccato. Therefore, the Csardas sucks for me.

And I nearly can't play fast notes without playing spiccato.

The Csardas is becoming rather easy for me now that I've had to play Tschaikowsky's Capriccio Italien. sweatdrop

I played the Csardas...let me think... -1 time for the lessons, my teacher gave it to me to study it. -many times for family, friends, visits, mostly with my father on the piano. -1 time on the fest of my dad being 10 years a publisher, with a gypsy band. -1 time on a new year fest by friends, with a band that played folkmusic, I'm forgotten from wich country. -2 times on a concert with a gypsy cymbalist, the second time with another gypsy, who sayd me that I had gypsy blood in me!
