I prefer cats, because they don't require the attention that dogs seem to need. Dogs are more fun to play with then cats, but they take up alot of room on the couch or bed, whereas my cats like to sleep in the dark recesses of my home.
I have 2 cats, one is black and the other is white, both are males.

Ask her(Sahra_Rem) yourself, she has 16 cats and alot of dogs too. She'll probably show up in this sometime soon.

I can't have either a cat or a dog because I travel to much! I've got brine shrimp instead, because they can be locked into a self-contained ecosphere and be fine. xp
We've had both, and I'm surprised at how much cats and dogs have in common! Both cats and dogs need attention; dogs are louder when denied. When my parents' dog died, they started paying more attention to the cat and his personality changed completely! He became friendly and appeared more intelligent. Our previous cats always bullied us the same way dogs do if they felt we weren't showing them enough love.

I remembered another difference between cats and dogs when I picked my Roro up! Cats are generally more tolerant of being picked up and held than dogs (even micro-dogs)! lol That Roro looked sooo uncomfortable!
