I don't mean date or hang out with. I mean marriage, kids, living together for the rest of your known lives, etc., etc.
I don't think I would. I don't know, because I'm not exactly big on the dating scene, and my parents are kinda old school white Southern people.
Explanation- Today in English, we were discussing this article about a black woman who basically told her kids "don't bring home anyone white" in reference to marriage. The question posed was "Is this woman racist?"
The majority thought yes, she was. I'm neutral on it, because you can argue that yes, she is racist, but you could argue that she is trying to keep her culture strong and alive.
So where do you stand? Would you marry someone outside that is socially and religiously outside your culture? Or would you stick to the people you know?

Well, I am actually getting married to an agnostic woman on May 31st. I am raising our kids LaVeyan. She is ok with it.

Regarding the issue with the African American woman and her kids, that does seem like a very racist remark. I mean, it's a bit obvious and blatantly implied from what she supposedly said. Although, if there is a reason why she doesn't want her kids to have any sort of contact with kids of a different race, then there might be some sort of justification.
As for who I would choose to spend the rest of my life with in relevance to any sort of cultural or religious indifferences, I don't think it should matter, IF the person carries with them an open mind. One can never be too careful of such radicals who would put up a fake appearance to then have them turn on you and potentially affect you in a negative manner. In short, one should be diligent when choosing who to spend the rest of one's life with. It all depends on the person in question.

Culture, probably not. Religion, sure. I'm not sure if that makes sense.
