If I list all my favorites, things will get out of hand in a hurry! xd However, a movie I'd recommend to any anime fan is Labyrinth. It's not anime, but it appeals to many of the same people as Studio Ghibli films. It's a Jim Henson flick, with marvellous puppets: goblins!!! Wonderful demented goblins! The heroine is a gaming nerd who can't break out of her fantasy life, and her friends and many of her foes are fairy-tale characters. David Bowie discovers his true calling as a goblin king! You'll love it if you don't already.
Have fun, all!

I would probably watch anything. But the types I do like the most are when they start the movie with the main characters and then they are sent away for so many years and come back, and look at everything that has changed, and how they themselves have changed. I love that feeling when the people from their past see them, I think "HA!"
Take Count of Monte Cristo, I loved that movie, but not in english mind you. French 3nodding
