In the somewhat near future, peace is obtained. All violence is obsolete. To achieve this, a certain groups detains anyone who shows any signs of aggression and eliminates them, while their Memory Agents goes and erases the memories of their friends and families. Oh, but that's hardly the end of it. When the Mission for Peace began, the group sent a transmission throughout the world that caused a five year coma for the entire human race. During these years, they went around eliminating all forms of violence; including history, literature, media, music, and even aggressive people. It is but human nature to be violent, but DNA can change all that. The generations following would be "Influenced by Peace", causing them to react only in the most passive manner to anything that would normally set off an aggressive reaction. The exception being the very group that brought about World Peace.
So, decades later, the group's leader passes away by natural causes. The successor? His calculative son whose agenda quite defers from that of the group's...
