So, I have a moderately successful book list. As Lava (and I'm sure many of you others, as well) is aware of, in addition to books I really, really like movies.

So, what have you seen recently? What can you recommend for us?

From your lists -- Juno and Vantage Point for theaters, The Darjeeling Limited for DVD. Beowulf.. is a good movie, but rather than buying the DVD I would recommend you go back in time and see it in IMAX. The same for 300. They're better that way.

Also, Bent. Just watched it. Very very good, if a bit mature (official rating's NC-17, so.)

I saw Beowulf last night, and while I wasn't exactly disappointed, I wasn't all that impressed, either. It bugs me when good actors (John Malkovich, Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Crispin Glover, etc....) are wasted.... And the story was so good to begin with, too.
