Does your band have a dress code? Mine doesn't as long as your not "overdressed" to where you'll pass out then they dont care.

for my team we are not allowed to under any circumstances wear jeans. We will wear shorts, guard sweatpants or tights with shorts over them.

Well I think that Florida's weather is bi-polar we are out there in frickenn shorts and a jacket one second its cold another its hot i can handle the hot but the cold no way

Well, the instructors i've had like us to wear black for winterguard so we all look the same, and we were going to get practice shirts with "BHS" on them...but our band director decided it was a good idea...so we had to wear them for marching as well...along with all black for pants as well (those-anything we can move/dance in)....but we did marching in a parking lot, and let me tell you, it gets really hot up there, and having to wear all black??? torture. what was really unfair was that the band could wear whatever they wanted (they just had to roll up long pants so the band director could see their ankles)...i hated it
but i do understand why you can't wear jeans....jeans aren't the stretchiest pants in the world..but if you can't even wear long pants....*shudder*
