Chapter 1: enter Uzumaki Kushina

You could say I’ve been through a lot in my life: my husband died, my son has a demon in side him and my country is, well no more. I haven’t had the best life, but it wasn't always so bad.

This is the story of Uzumaki Kushina aka Naruto's mom, a strong kunoichi with a boyish attitude and an amazing story.

"Class we a have a new student joining us today." announced Tohara-sensei
“I would like to introduce uzumaki kushina!"
"Ohaio! Kushina-san." Said the class in unison.
"Ohaio...minasan." I said without interest. I sat down next to some boy he had this uberly bright yellow hair.
"Hi I’m Namekaze Minato, and I’m the next hokage." he said proudly
"Well I’m the uzukage but.....my village was destroyed." I said madish/rudeish tone
"That’s too bad."
"wait sensei is about to say something important." we turned our head to the board then sensei asked the class "today we're going to learn about chakra control, can someone tell what chakra is?"
A few people raised their hand. Sensei called on this pink haired girl.
"Yes Izumi-chan."
"Chakra is the elemental type energy that a ninja uses in jutsu and is the source of the ninja’s power. ninjas use both their chakra and spiritual energy (which is only improved through training and experience) to complete a jutsu.When both body and spirit energies are blended together (also known as the process of molding chakra) and the proper hand seal(s) are formed, a technique can be executed. To perform a Ninjutsu or Genjutsu technique, it is crucial to mix your chakra correctly."
"Well Miss Haruno seems you have the brain of a chunnin."
"Thank you sensei."
"Anyway................."

"Oi! Kushina-chan comes eat lunch with us."
"Okay!" I ran over to minato-kun and his friends
"Hi I’m Inuzuka Ookami."
"And I’m matarshi kaisou."
"Nice to meet you." I then sat down on the bench with them and started eating. "So Ookami-kun when do you get your dog, your in the Inuzuka clan right?"
"Yea, but I don’t get my dog till next year." he talked with a little sadness in his voice.
"Hmm cool."
"So kushina-san where are you from." kaisou-kun had just asked the question I feared most.
"Well... I’m from the whirlpool country."
"Naa naa!" minato-kun intrupted “isn’t your last name uzumaki?"
"Yes minato-kun it is my last name and it means whirlpool see my great grandfather was the first uzukage."
"O cool!” all three boys responded with interest.
"Wait, wasn’t the whirlpool county destroyed by wars."
"Yea that’s why I left."
"Oooooooooooooo."
"Alright everybody come back in side, lunch is over!" shouted sensei.

Taking another look at our sensei, I noticed that if he didn’t have that mole, he might be good looking. (Eh? what you don’t agree jiraiya-kun rocks? So meh to you hatas. Sorry, back to the fanfic) but, he’s my sensei, so I shouldn’t say stuff like that; he might have a girlfriend, for all I know.
"You’re kinda late, sensei." said Minato. I could tell from his face that he was just as eager as me to see his reaction.
"Well, deal with it, we can’t change that, can we?" he said with a bright smile. He might not be as bad as I thought. “Now why don’t you guys introduce yourselves, huh?"
"Okay!" I said swiftly, "I’m Uzumaki Kunshina, and my strengths are genjutsu and weaponry."
"My name is Namikaze Minato, I’m best in ninjutsu and I’m hella fast!"
"I’m, uh, Inuzuka Ookami, and, uh, I’m best with taijutsu and tracking."
"That’s nice. well as I said I’m jiraiya and my strengths are in EVERYTHING."
Then it hit me: Jiraiya? Tsunade-san told me about him! He’s a perv. I remember, she told me that he peeps at girls a lot and wants to write pervy books. Never mind what I said before, he’s no good.
“Now, I want all of you at the 7th training ground tomorrow at nine am for your test. I want to see these skills in action, alright?"
"Hai!" the three of us said in unison, yearning for a real chance to show our skills as ninja.

THE NEXT DAY

*Yawn…*
"Ookami-kun, what kinda attitude is that? We're about to a get a chance to show off. Show some spark, geez..." I said, lightly punching his arm.
"Sorry kushina-chan, I’m really tired cuz I didn’t sleep that well last night."
"Okay, you guys. Here’s what you’re gonna do. I've got these two bells here and you have to get from me. There are no rules, just get the bells from me, you got it?"
“I said BELLS. BELLS, dammit!” he continued.
“Uuuuuummm… No one said anything, Sensei.” Minato said, looking around nervously.
“God, you really are a pervert,” I added quietly.
"There’s 2 bells and three ninja. How’s that gonna work?" Ookami said confusedly.
"Well, That’s up to you. You’ve got to figure out how all three of you can get one, if there’s only two." sensei told us smirkingly. He knew he knew he was challenging us, but we were ready for this. We're ninja, full fledged shinobi!
"Start!" he called out calmly, as we jumped in to the surrounding greenery. I was on the branch of an oak. I saw Ookami below me, behind a large rock, but Minato was not in sight. I couldn’t see him, but I knew he wasn’t in the open. He’s smart enough not to do that. Then, suddenly, Inutsume transformed into Ookami and ran for sensei, holding a kunai. She stopped a safe distance away from him, and threw the kunai.
Looking down, I saw Ookami lift his right hand to his face, held up his middle and pointer finger and whispered “Katsu." Just then, the kunai hit the ground in front of sensei, and exploded. Sensei jumped backwards, away from the blast. From the tree behind him sprang Minato, jumping at sensei with such speed I barely saw him. But sensei turned to see him, and threw up arm up blocking a Minato's punch. I hadn't even noticed he was even going to punch him. Then, the image that appeared to be Minato began moving downward. He was changing his target from sensei's face to his stomach.
