Greetings, Gaians. We are pleased to present to you: The Philanthropists' Society, a place where those with means may donate to those in need.
We here in the Society have worked our way up financially in our time on Gaia and do remember what it is like to need. We remember the frustration we felt looking for a charity that gave freely but were met with restrictions and requirements. We here in the Society love giving and feel there should be NO REQUIREMENTS or prerequisites for the needy to be given some gold. Our mission, simply, is to give whatever we can to whoever asks..no questions asked.

Hello to all and welcome to The Philanthropists' Society!
As you can see, we are a charity dedicated to helping Gaians in need the easiest and most pleasant way possible.
The idea for this charity arose in a quest thread of Eowyyn's. It was mentioned how there should be more "nice and easy, no restrictions, just need a little something" charities...as there seem to be so few.
We also believe that giving is a great feeling and a lot of Gaians like to do it, so why not create a place where all Philanthropists can band together, be part of a GREAT cause, and still give to those in need.
We have grown quite a bit in such a short time. In addition to our charity thread, we have this guild, a side project shop of one of our staff members to raise charity, and many affiliates who think our ideals match theirs.
So please, look around the guild's forum and be sure to peek into the charity thread!
We hope to be a charity for a very long while and with as much help as we can get.
