SUBJECT: No. 18

This is Doctor Smith reporting on subject No. 18's condition. So far the administration of the drugs have been successful. He attempted to fight against the procedure, but security managed to subdue him. Given his current state, I will withold on the application of the cybernetic implants until further notice. His biological readings are normal except and accelerated blood flow, but this is most likely due to the drugs. I will return to observing the subject to look for change.

This is Doctor Smith once more reporting on the condition of No. 18. His body has already adapted to the drugs, and the changes in his physiology are more than we could have hoped for. There have been massive boosts in his strength and speed, as well as his senses. The subject has been proven to be able to lift 300lbs with no visible strain, and his top running speed to date has already passed the 60mph mark. The subject has hit the bulls-eye of all ten targets with a single shot at each at a range of 80' away, and the subject was able to distinguish the functioning mechanical devices from 40' away. Subjects rebellious behavior has seemingly been quelled, although he did attempt to fight a guard three days ago. We will proceed with cybernetic implants today.

This is Doctor Smith once more presenting information on subject No. 18's status. His improvements are far beyond what we could have ever thought they would be. In additon to increasing the dosage of the drugs, we have successfully replaced the bones of his limbs with ceramic-titanium alloy, and the natural muscle tissue with synthetic fibers. A faux nervous system has been placed inside the limbs and linked to his brain, allowing the electrochemical signals his body produces to move the limbs with great speed and precision. We have also replaced the skin of the arms with a durable latex, and various tubes containing a paste that coagulates on contact with oxygen have been placed under the said latex, meaning even if the latex is breached the wound will immediately be sealed. The cybernetic limbs have nearly tripled the subjects strength and speed, and he had only suffered superficial wounds in combat training. All guards set against the subject were eliminated, both in armed and unarmed combat. The subject has been extremely silent and obedient, following all orders and not speaking unless directly adressed.

This is Doctor Smith once more reporting on subject No. 18's progress. His torso and abdomen have successfully been grafted with the same latex used for his cybernetic limbs, with the addition of multiple layers of a fine-woven carbon-steel mesh within the latex. The subjects speed was slightly reduced, but continued training shall easily allow him to adapt. The implant of the cybernetic right eye has also been successful, and the subject no longer requires use of a scope when using a sniping weapon. The infrared mode of the eye is also extremely strong, as he was able to accurately snipe all of the targets even when their temperature was only two degrees above the environment. As an additional observation, the subjects hair color has gone from dark brown to an extremely pale blonde. The other researchers have suggested that this may be due to the drugs, but I myself am skeptical. Additionally, the subject seems to have completely lost his ability to speak. I shall see if this problem can be rectified.

This is Doctor Smith, making another report on the status of subject No. 18. His results are simply... phenomenal. In combat training, he has slain all 100 guards set against him, and did not recieve a single injury. He has mastered all forms of hand-to-hand combat we had taught him, and he knows how to handle every weapon we have given him with the skill of a master. In one final test of his capabilities, we had managed to set up a military-issue railgun within the facility. For those unfamiliar with the weapon, a railgun is an electrical weapon that projects a strong electromagnetic field along two rails to propel a conductive projectile at high-speeds with devastating power. During the test, we had set the subject along side the weapon, and had planned on having him intercept the projectile. Upon firing the weapon, the subject had been able to outrun the projectile as it was fired and placed himself in the path of the projectile, and had took it square in the center of his chest with no visible injury. It is now official: we have truly created the ultimate soldier. A soldier that is unmatched in armed and unarmed combat, with the senses, strength, stamina, accuracy and speed only the Gods of myth could possess. While a few weeks ago it seemed that he had lost vocal capabilites, he had actually spoke to me. He had simply looked me in the eye and said "Soon". I have no idea what he meant, but I felt chilled to the core. We will need to monitor him.

This is Doctor Smith, and I'm afraid that this will be my last message. This is a complete disaster... at exactly 12:00 AM, subject No. 18 had escaped his confinement and began slaughtering all of the personell within the facility, both guards and scientists. I managed to hide myself, and I can only hope that this message makes it to the President. Should he or any government personell receive this message, Project ADAM is a failure. The subject has been conditoned to be the ultimate weapon, and now he is just that. No matter what weapon the guards used against him, he effortlessly managed to kill each and every person before him. I regret what we have done, now that I look back on it. This entire project was a mistake... the human body and mind must never be tampered with in such a manner. I'm not even sure how long it will be before I am discovered. I can only hope that I can last long enough to transmit this message. But even now I think it is only a matter of time before he finds—

Ever since you people began injecting me with whatever you had, I could feel my mind slipping away from me. You constantly put me through fighting and shooting people, and then you stripped away at my body and replaced me with machine. I have killed countless people because of your tests, and with each person I killed, the angrier I got. I'm sick of it. There is no way I can go back to my old life now. Not like this. Since you all ruined my life, I'm going to ruin yours. I figured out how to use the computers here by watching the guys in the white coats, and I managed to find out all of your names. I will find you all, and I will make you pay. As for what the guy in the white coat said just now, don't pay any attention to him. Nobody failed.
