Description of Power: Can transform into a raven, controls fire. In his human form he uses fire to its full extent yet he can still use it when he is in his raven form. He keeps his wings when he shifts back into human form, and can also extend his fingernails into talons.
Bio/Personality: He is full of sarcasm and hardly gets close to anyone. As a child he was completely ignored so he is rather self-sufficient when it comes to supplies. Raven is very intelligent and is always looking for the chance to prove that he is the smartest.

Age: 15
Grade: Sophmore
Description of power: She has extremely abnormal agility and telekinises in which she uses to the extent to where it could be dangerous. Her hearing abilities are over the top as well and her sleep schedule is never the same. Her natural instincts tell her to sleep during the daytime, so her powers aren't as intense as when the moon is out. She has the power to bring happiness to the people she chooses, but in doing so, she is giving away part of her own happiness.

Bio/Personality: Brilliantly smart. She's very blunt with people and often speaks in a monotone as if she's bored. Her family was brutally murdered in front of her when she was eight. She ran until a group of occult members captured her, branded her and (tried to) use her as their sacrifice. In doing so, her anger rose to such a degree that she was able to throw them around with her mind until they eventually died in their own blood (this was where she recognized her telekinisis). After escaping, she walked for days until she collapsed in front of the school, where she was taken in and cared for. (Now here is the story behind that:
Professor Anaksar will be the person who found me.

He went outside after school to see a girl, blood crusted onto her body, lying face down in the snow. He picked her up slowly to find cat ears hidden underneath white, bloodstained hair. "A student? I've never seen her before." He looked her over to see a black tattoo-looking scar on her shoulder. The girl stirs suddenly and opens her eyes. Fear overcoming her weary face, she made a weak attempt to throw a small but solid rock at his leg, missing it by inches, then falling back into a sleeping state. The professor laughed softly. "Well, if you're not a student now, you soon will be." He carried her to the headmaster and told his story of finding her.
"Why is she covered in blood?" he asked sternly "You know we cannot have dangerous students at this school"
The professor nodded. "I'll find out. But in the meantime, she does need a place to stay....and go to school. Everyone needs an education."
The headmaster agreed to let her stay as he looked at her curiously."Just get her cleaned up and make sure she knows her manners."

To this day, Layla treats Professor Anaksar with the utmost respect as if he were her father, but still keeps a good distance between him. Her fear is to be the cause of his death.
Needless to say, she doesn't let herself get emotionally involved with things. She's never made any connections with people and often ignores them. She only has emotion for her small bird in which the school allowed her to keep as long as she took care of it. She often wears hair accessories such as beads or feathers to hide her abnormal cat ears.

Description of Power: A complete weather witch. She controls the weather, though whenever she gets angry her power bursts causing storms and other natural disasters.
Bio/Personality: Amber is a calm, yet joyful, teenage girl. She has the occasional outbursts of teenage angst but quells them quickly. Her smile can brighten up a room and she always tries to cheer up glum faces. She was pampered her whole life by her rich parents, and was sent to the Academy to learn to control her powers.

Character Name: Phellan (prefers Phell)
Age: 17
Grade: senior
Description of Power: Manipulator of shadows. He can bend the shadows to make solid objects as well as being able to blend into them. During the night when are no shadows or during the day when the sun does not cast them, he can control red lightning that can be shot from any part of his body.
Bio/Personality: As a child, Phell was not the smartest of all children. At the age of five, he stuck his finger in the light socket, red electricity flowing through his fingers and short circuited the house. His parents grew afraid of his ability, deciding to send him away from home. His anger towards his parents fueled the darkness in him, allowing him to control the shadows of day. As a teen, his lay back and often smart-alic-y attitude, gets him into many sessions with his counselor and headmaster.

Character Name: Lucion Carlisle
Age: 17
Grade: Eleventh.
Description of Power: Lucion has the ability to read the human heart with a third eye that is carved into his palm. He also has a vaguely understood ability to split one's emotions into seperate bodies made entirely out of that person's shadow, giving them a darker form.
Bio/Personality:
He was the son of a maid and was rumored to have been sired by an Incubus.
He was the friend of Victoria, who was also sent to Lonshire Academy when her parents disowned her for her "curse" that most mistook for insanity.
He too was disowned by the Carlisle home for his gift, and was rumored to have caused Victoria's insanity with his queer abilities.

Character Name: Victoria Carlisle
Age: 18
Grade: 12th.
Description of Power: Victoria has no real ability, but what makes her special is the
maleficent presense that follows her wherever she goes that she calls "Dormio", which means "Slumber" in the Dead Language that she speaks quite fluently in.
She states that he draws out one's inner darkness with tempting words, creating more beings like himself. But unlike Lucion's ability, the beings Dormio creates are human like.

Bio/Personality:
Victoria was born under the noble Translvanian name of Carlisle.
Because of her cerulean hair she had at birth, she was prized by her father as a rare specimen and loathed by her mother as a demon.
She had grown up with Lucion, but had never really aknowleged his existence until he pierced her with his third eye, and Dormio was created.
Dormio only made himself visible to she and Lucion, so her parents thought she was ill when she was seen speaking to herself as if another was listening.
Only when her father died did her mother send her to the academy out of fear and hatred.

Grade: Sophmore(failed a grade)
Description of power: He can control water and Earth. He can create landforms, tidal waves, pretty much all you can do with water and land. He has excellent agility too.

Bio/Personality: He's a C average student who sees the bright side of things. He was greatly encouraged to use his earth powers dealing with plants (mostly flowers) when he was younger, as his father was a florist. His parents loved him dearly though his mother was always a little cautious of him and was most of the time afraid to touch him in any way. Still, he's always been a happy person. But when he does get sad, it usually tends to rain. He was mainly sent to the school to excell in his water abilities, which he had never really used (other than the water fights with his sister).He's extremely curious, as he gets bored easily. He's also a huge flirt, his main attraction being quiet or shy girls.
In other words, he's the human form of a puppy.

Description of Power: The controller of all plants. She can make them grow, bind, and stretch. The plants follow her every whim, always eager to respond. She thinks of them as human beings, and is cruel to others when they hurt plants. Larka does eat vegetables, but always makes sure to thank them.
Bio/Personality: Larka, like Amber has a bubbly personality. Her inner blond is very often present, leading to mishaps with her powers. Larka is Phell's twin, although she is the elder. Her personality says otherwise, but she often calls him "baby brother" to bug him. At the age of five, she and Phell were separated since their parents became divorced. As a princess like girl, her life was wonderful unlike Phell's.

Description of Power: Became a vampire at age 12 and has control of metal, with a slight grasp of fire.
Bio/Personality: Not much is known about his childhood besides the tragic death of his parents at the hands of a rampaging pureblood vampire. Bitten at the age of 10, it took two years for the effects of the transformation to kick in. He quests for blood although he has been given special tablets to dull his need. His control of metal came unexpectedly, though he takes full advantage of his new abilities.

Age: 14
Grade: Freshman
Description of Power: Can commune with and control spirits. Can also go into a trance where her spirit leaves her body. When she's like that then she can go anywhere, but it only lasts for an hour.
Bio/Personality: Morticia despises the living. Ever since she was a little girl the only friends that she's had have always been spirits. Her mother, Alice, wants her to make some human friends, but when Morticia tries they always get scared.
