I should say that more than a few of us get our Hellsing fixations from none other than the acclaimed art site, Solid & ETC

Even on our own guild has more than a few people have Solid pictures in their sigs or in various posts!

But that got me thinking, how many people know or like Solid?

--And a followup, who do you guys know that is an especially good artistic fan? Someone who makes great AMV's, someone that makes astounding fanfictions, or someone that makes really good fanpics.

I am quite intrigued, so please share your Hellsing-tastic knowledge and post your favs so EVERYONE can see!  heart

For the record, the artist and owner of the website Solid&ETC's name is Toshimichi Yukari. I have like, TOO many favorites of her works to share without this post becoming TL;DR. xD A few other I like are The Vampire House and Blood Serum.

Also, I dunno if anyone's noticed, but I'm an artist as well. I'm not professional level, but it's something I've been doing for a while and something I take seriously. I don't draw as much Hellsing fanart as I used to though. In fact, the standards I set for myself when drawing Integra are so high, I fail nearly every time. Hence you don't see me drawing her often.

I had to save the drawing of Integra you have on your front DA page. Someone said the mouth bothered them, but in truth no one's mouth looks slim or elegant while holding a cigar. Hirano takes major artistic license with that. You're image is so realistic, that's why I love it. Based on the different scenes and lighting of the original anime, we can say she has different shades of suits and all is fine with your coloring. wink

That AMV....so perfectly made with OA clips and all....Omg, its gorgeous.... Plus its one of my favorite songs too, and seeing it used in this way was great. They managed to use the song in a non-romantic way! Its fantastic.

Another one I love is....Bodies
I've always loved the song, but lets face it, most Hellsing vids to this song are really horrible....poorly edited and such....this one...The timing is awesome. Its possibly the only AMV showcasing Hellsings gore that I actually like. =/
(I normally don't like action AMV's too much...)

..finally.... Here is the funniest thing I've ever seen related to Iscariot...Jesus Walks... I've memorized it, actually. XD

xD StupidUndRetared...their work is pretty good....some of their humor is a little too crude for me, the rest of it...man, some of their work is GENIUS....

Silverhawke is a goddess and I worship the ground she walks on. xD
Her fiction is all...very morbid...and very awesome. <3
I recommend reading Leashed Darkness, though its rather upsetting...to some people. I adore it. I adore ALL of her work actually. Punishment Session is good too. >.<


DuchessRaven is also a very good writer. ^_^
For oneshots, and full length fics...yup....Be warned...its almost all AxI though. (But seriously, its VERY in character AxI, its PERFECT AxI.

...Dominance is a fantastic fic by her. Its just SO perfect as to how AxI would really work, in my opinion. Its also a great example of Integra being pure awesome. xD

as for her full length fics... The Alpha Female and The Way to an Heir are both ones I enjoy. ^_^
Oh, and True to You. That ones really sweet. (ONE WORD: Lil' Vladcard!! *melts in a ray of cute sweetness* )

What I like about Toshimichi Yukari's work would be the variety and the depth of mood produced. I don't like them all, but sometimes even if I think it's way ooc, the mood is just so powerful that I can't shake the image. If I'm not mistaken, both images on my Gaia profile are SOLID works. Two of my favorites, of course.
