Must we? Came the cry of a desperate wyrm. Brown eyes glared at the woman before him and he instantly resented her. How a grown shadow wyrm could be bested by a two-legger was beyond him. Why did he ever let her get away with half of what she did?
"Oh, don't be such a sour puss Tredes! I won the bet fair and square and now I demand that we go!" She set her foot down and the wyrm instantly growled with a toss of his head defiantly. "Won't it be lovely to get away from the clan for one afternoon?" Her brow cocked.
Ugh. If it has to happen then it has to. But I don't want word getting out. He stepped passed her and Ambrosia let out and inward chuckle at his pride being bruised.
"Of course not, what kind of two-legger do you take me for?" She hurried alongside him knowing that he wasn't going to wait up for her to follow. Her long blonde hair bounced behind in her sprint. "Could we go to the gardens?"
Rose, you're killing me!
"No." She said pointedly. "If I were killing you there'd be lots of blood and I wouldn't be so damn bored. You wyrms have no sense of entertainment."
Tredes gave a c**k-eyed smirk. It had to be hard for her to be the only humanoid (except for Farrow who occasionally visited) in a league full of wyrms. Though, he didn't in the least feel sorry for her. It was her choice to associate with them and she could always leave the first time she wanted. Come on Small One. The sooner we get there the sooner we can get back.
Ambrosia gave a swift nod. She watched Tredes leap right off the side of the mountain and she chuckled. It took her a bit longer to climb down and see him waiting impatiently for her shorter legs to catch up. "Heroics, eh?"
Always. He started right up with a steady pace down the mountainside, hardly waiting for the witch to catch him. She knew the drill, if she couldn't keep up then she might as well go home. This was no place for humanoid leisure.
