Zane, of course, is my favorite! xd
And, as I've said before, my favorite "part" of Hawksong takes place in the start of chapter five; when Zane approaches Danica in her tent. It opens up a window for everything that happens later. It is sensual and revels how intertwined their existences have already been!

My favorite character is probably Zane as well. I really relate to the bipolarness. hehe...
The book as a whole just gets me. I love how in the very begining, you really understand the hate between these families and almost hate Zane. By the end, everything changes. But if I had to choose, I'd say the announcements to the different worlds were the best. Things really start to change and their connection starts to become more apparent.

It seems pointless for someone else to reiterate Zane's awesomeness, but I shall do it anyway. He's awesome. I read the book some time ago, but the part(s) that stuck out for me were when Danica tells her guard (whose name I've forgotten) that she trusts Zane's intentions, but not so much him, and then at the end when she realizes that her answer has changed. It was just... cool. It showed the transition from an alliance to an actual relationship.
