Okay, this always comes up eventually so I felt like I should get out there.
The basic questions that get asked are:
1. are there any?
2. if there are how many?
3. can they become a super saiyan?
4. who is Goku's mother?
Just to point out, yes, there are female pure saiyans. They're seen in a couple flashbacks and in the Bardock special.
And for becoming super saiyans.... that's always in debate. Supposedly there is a clip from GT that shows Bra/Bulla as a super saiyan, but that's unvarified.
All thoughts are welcome, even if they go beyond these simple questions

1. Not anymore, since Frieza destroyed their whole planet, and the only survivors were men. Although, In the Bardock special, before this happened, it appeared that there was a pretty decent blend of females and males when Bardock ran into the cafeteria.
2. None, now that Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta.
3. No reason why not. But there is no way to find out, since the only survivors of the "Meteor" that destroyed Planet Vegeta were men (Goku, Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz, Turles, Broly, and Paragas).
4. Not known, since Bardock was not there when Goku was born, nor did he even really care about him until his visions started. Popular opinion, however, states that Fasha(Dub)/Seripa(Sub), the female member of Bardock's crew, is most likely the mother, since she and Bardock were so close friends.
