Arawn for the Irish Thanatos for the Greek Azrael for the Sumerian Grim Reaper for some of the Westerners.
merely an embodiment of our inevitable resignation of life? or an actual entity that destroys us when we're weak?
it would be interesting to find out, and i think i know a couple ways to find out... one of them is a summons of the angel of hidden knowledge... the other... is attempting to summon Grim Thanatos Arawnrael himself.
there are other ways, searching back through records to see where each name came into existence, finding the first one, then finding HOW it came into place.
what do you guys think?

We'll all know the answer to that one soon enough as it is, when death finally claims us... Why rush it?

well ive made contact with a death god, anubis. and he seems very resigned to his fate of taking and weighing the souls of the dead. he seems sad with his lot but he accepts his designation. on a side note i went to see him for some past life work.

Death doesn't kill you. He just... deads you. *cough* That is, separates one from body. If you believe in the anthropomorphic personification.
Don't ******** around with him. He is busy. Very busy. Honest. If he had a secretary, best to leave a note with her. But he doesn't. As far as I know. (It would be neat if he did.)
Hmm. The Wiccan God is in charge of death. I find a vague comfort in the fact that He dies Himself, if metaphorically.
