I think she deserves an honorable mention. mrgreen
Her stories are easy reads, but totally worth it in my opinion. She started her writing career at a young age. Her first book, In the Forests of the Night was published when she was in her early teens I believe. Her early books were not in a serious, but evolved around vampires and some of the characters are related in one form or another. (I haven't read some of these in a while, forgive me if something is wrong)
Her other works include Demon In My View, Shattered Mirror, Midnight Predator, and the The Kiesha'ra series.
The Kiesha'ra series consist of five books, and are her latest works. The series consists of Hawksong, Snakecharm, Falcondance, Wolfcry, and Wyverhail The series is extremely good, the only down fall being the length of the books.

I loved her books years ago. I think I got into them when Shattered Mirror or something like that was released. I read the first two of the Kiesha'ra series and they were pretty good. I can't really get into them anymore though and I dunno why :[

Yeah, I know how you feel. I find it hard to go back to anything outside the Kiesha'ra series myself.

I tried to read a few of them awhile back because I really enjoyed them when I was younger... And I just couldn't get interested in them again. Stupid growning up *shakes fist*

I have the same problem with Tolkien. I was too old the first time I picked up one of his books. (College I think.) Can't get past the first chapter of the hobbit. I'd listened to them all on tape when I was younger and I remember enjoying the plot but not totally following all of it. (I also remember he spent like 20 minutes describing freaking trees.) If I'd read it when I was younger maybe I'd be able to stomach it today...

I never got into his books at all, so I doubt I will now. I never even picked up the Hobbit and I'm kinda of reluctant to. But, I was in middle school when I tried to read them. xd
