I know a lot of people who just LOVE to talk about their religion (it seems like the ones that haven't even thought about their religion fall into this category). I don't mean discussions and such, like we have here. I mean the annoying kind of talk.
I also know a lot of people who refuse to utter a word about their religion. I have friends who have not once spoke a word to give an indication of their spiritual behaviors (I doubt there are any people like that here... mrgreen )
The rest of us fall in between these extremes. How do you talk about your religion? Are you pretty casual about it? Must people bring up some magical question to coax your words from you? I would like to discuss how you go about speaking of your beliefs.

(Good call on this one Zanep)
Personally I Don't really talk about it, I've started to go out of my way to think, if not voice, comments of prayer and god recently, but for the most par all I really do is wear a cross outside my clothing where it is evident.

I've never directly initiate conversation about religion (unless it's for a very good reason), but I do tend to steer some conversations in that direction. I don't say anything about my beliefs unless I'm asked, but I love to hear about other peoples' (not hearing someone trying to convert me or that type of thing, but hearing about their honest thoughts opinions on their beliefs and how their lives have impacted their religion and vice versa). I'm really open about this subject, I try to encourage the people around me to be too.

In the world outside my computer, I'm not as much of a 'witness' as my church would like. I don't shove my religion in people's faces. I don't hide it, I just don't broadcast it. Usually my tattoo (on my left forearm) that says 'Faith, Hope, Love' gets a conversation going. I get to tell them it's one of my favorite Bible verses, and the three things that guide my life. I'm more of an actions than a words person.

I think I'm rather casual, not avoiding the subject, but never start it either... My fellows know I'm the Christian because once when I said "Thank's God" they saked me if I use it as a phraze because they know something better if I want... Most of the was sure I'm atheist just because I wasn't bothering them with "churchtalk" lol

I'm very quiet about my beliefs, unless I'm talking to someone I completely trust.
I don't broadcast my beliefs, but if asked I won't deny it.

Which is cool also. It's kinda sad to have beliefs and no one to share them with. confused

Unless someone asks me, what it is they have no idea what I am.
