40 days had passed since Brom, Wanda, and Relena had lefted Carvahall. The journey has not been a easy one for Wanda and Relena. Brom had made it manitory to train with magic and swords. Brom had finally after the tenth day shown what they had got from Hogart to give to Brom. Two swords laid wrapped in poorly made leather sheaths. Even though the swords were not good compare to the kings army...they still were Hogarts best and served to be excellent training weapons.

Sifer and Ra had grown a bit in the time that they had travel. Their wings becoming more full and develop, allowing them easier flight and more stamia when in the air. They were still the size of two horses. Now over there main growth spurt their growth has slow down considerable.

By now they were running low on supplies and had used, broken, or lost...somehow...the rest of thier items. Brom had mention the outcast towned of Bullridge bordering the Hadarac desert. He said that they need supplies to cross it safetly. Since their money had long left them when they had a run in with Gil'ead and a few gambler that did like to lose to Brom.

A low moan was her from a slumped over form called Relena. Brom had made another night of long training as the began to get close to Bullridge. She was currently leaning to the left of her saddle, her head firmly on Brom shoulder as their horse rode side by side. It was obvious that the horses too were ready for a break. Relena had long ago fallen asleep an hour ago and to keep from stopping Brom did not decide to wake her when she collided with his shoulder. Riding Silfer was not something to be asleeping with anyway. Better to let her sleep like this and still be moving.

Brom looked over at Wanda and saw her horse sloopy foot work. They make a 60 day journey into 40 days and the horse were quickly coming to ends of their ropes.

"How aer you holding up Wanda," asked Brom quietly.

Brom looked at Wanda over his shoulder, "What brought this up?"

Brom looked ahead to see the lights of Bullridge close by. He took a sign and looked down at Relena.

"I don't anything for sure. The elves far better than I am with it comes to dragon riders,"he looked at Wanda, "It is one of those see what happen when you arrive situations."

Brom glanced at Wanda one more, "What trying to get rid of me already?"

Brom did have a chance to respond to Wanda. Her question took him totally by surprise and so badly that he suddenly fell off the saddle. Of course he took a wide awake Relena with him. Both went tumbling down the hill that they were riding up.

"Relena," cried out her dragon.

Brom and Relena came to an abrupt stop at the bottom of the hill. Relena landed on top, fully unaware that she was sitting on a daze Brom waist. "What...Happ..en..ed," asked Relena as the world went spinning arond her.

Brom was the first to recover and to realize Relena and his predictment. He quickly grabbed her waist and moved to the side of him as he rose into a sitted a position.

Relena by now was slowly coming to a complete awake and become more aware of what was going on, "Anyone mine telling me why we suddenly decided it was time to do cartwheels?"

Brom looked at Wanda immediately as he stood up, "Yes, Wanda...do explain?!" Brom arched an eyebrow at her and he help Relena to her feet, "Let's gets going...we still have another hour and I would like to make it before dark. That is if we don't have any other, "He looked at Wanda questionly, "stallings."

Brom shook his laughing slightly. Wanda had definitely change in the pass few months.

They got back to the horse and made their way into Bullridge. The village was large but spacious mainly. Brom looked back at the two girls behind him, "Stay close...this is the were those at Helgrind go to escape the king."

Relena did need to be told twice as she kneed her horse to move closer to Brom. Just by taking one look around her and she could tell that there were thing but scum in the village playing hideout. Relena looked to her left to see a man sneer at her with a cavity filled mouth. Relena suddenly lost all appetite and move even closer to Brom. She may be able to defend herself but Brom could easily hand both Wanda and hers butt on a silver plater.

Brom shook his head, "Hopefully not...as soon as we get a few things and sell the horse we leave."
