On March 10th, a lot of innocent users were banned because of a glitch. Information has been given in a lot of different places, such as PM:s to users asking about their ban, and in the Ask the Admin thread.
The first sign that something wasn't right came when the Questions and Assistance forum filled up with topics about blockings, and users found that they were not alone in this.
However, since those threads turned from questions towards other topics, that isn't allowed in the Q&A forum, the user SilverFawn created a thread in the Chatterbox, that quickly got filled with users who were also unrightfully banned.
In that thread, the idea of creating a guild came up. And soon afterwards, this guild was created.
Our aim is to gather information about this issue, and offer each other support while we wait for it to get resolved.

Here's the obvious rules:
1. Obey the ToS
2. No Mod Bashing - doesn't ever help and it gets them cranky at us
3. No Fighting
4. No Swearing like mad people.

3. make unsolicited offers, advertisements, proposals, chain letters, or send junk mail, to other Members
5. fail to deliver payment for any purchases made on Gaia Online
10. intentionally interfere with the operation of Gaia Online or any Member's enjoyment of it, or intentionally post inflammatory statements to get responses ("Trolling")
I understand it is hard under these circumstances to comply with all this, but since the guild can be shut down if the guild crew doesn't keep ToS violations out of the guild, we will enforce these rules a bit harder and might delete posts or threads without prior warning. So try to keep it civil.
Remember that the guild crew isn't trained as moderators, so we might make mistakes and remove a post that is, although borderline, within the Terms of Service. Beg pardon for that, but rather that than losing the guild altogether.

Edited the rule post. Sorry all, but we're gonna have to be a bit harder on the terms of service, since I recently found out that guilds where the crew doesn't handle terms of service violations can be shut down, and the violations in question will instead be handled by moderators.
Seeing how this guild is watched, and posted in, by admins, we can assume that what is posted here is a bit more closely monitored than other guilds, and I don't want you guys to trade an unrightful ban to a rightful one.
Criticism against Gaiaonline and how they have handled this situation is fine. Just keep the wording within the ToS. heart
