In my speech class today we had to do an informational speech on a famous person and introduce them as if we were the hosts of some awards cerimony and I chose to do mine on Laurell K. Hamilton. I got some good stuff, but at the end of my turn only ONE of my twenty other class mates know who I was talking about. I dont know about you, but that made me feel sad. I mean, how could they NOT know who she is? Her books are so amazing......*sigh* Oh, and the funny thing is, the one class mate that knew, is the ONLY guy left in our class.

Don't know why... I mean, LKH is tons better at writing than J.K Rowling. And almost everyone in the world knows about her. >>

I can believe that not a lot of people read. I had at least three project partners in college who hadn't set foot in a library in over 12 years. . . pathetic.
I love my library, almost as much as reading awesome LKH novels. ^_^

I found that none of my friends knew who LKH was, as well, so i kinda solved that minor problem my making the friends of mine that do read, read the books. lets just say i have a group of people completely obsessed now. ^.^ and i have people to talk with about the books, besides the person who got me addicted.
