I would like to have other peoples opinions on the anime. I've heard that it fails in comparison to the manga but still....
I tried to watch the dubbed anime by Funimation but the voices got to me. But I will try again. You can dicuss which is better: japanese or english? voice actors? And how close the anime sticks to the manga(minus the filler episodes).
Just a general discussion of the anime.

As far as voices go, I liked Kurogane's, Syaoran's, Touya's and Yukito's. I actually like Yukito's dubbed voice better. gonk With everyone else I was just kind of on the fence, and Mokona's voice is a little annoying. sweatdrop
Anyway, the anime, at least the first few episodes, isn't complete crap and it's entertaining. 3nodding And the MUSIC. The music is the best part, except it's really loud and I can never hear the characters talking. xd

If you really want to compare the voices from Tsubasa Chronicle, watch this video: Japanese Vs. English(These are my opinions only, please don't take offence if you think differnt of them.)
For the voices, I definately prefer the original Japanese ones. In the English dubb, Fay and Shaoran's voices are okay I guess, but Kurogane's is too... how should I say this... it sounds too much like something off Dragon Ball. Mokona's is just plain annoying, and Sakura's voice, when it's supposed to be sweet and princess-like is all nasal and snobby. Her English voice just makes me... scream .
I simply swoon at the sound of Fay and Kurogane Japanese voices! Namikawa Daisuke-san and Inada Tetsu-san = love! *swoon* ^/////^ Sakura, Tomoyo and Mokona's voices are cute, and Syaoran's is so hero-like. I love them. ^^

I agree with Vy-san (then again, I've always been more partial to the Japanese voice actors sweatdrop ); Kurogane sounds like a humongous muscley-man kinda like Arnold Shwartzenegger (sp?) but Japanese. Mokona's voice is like...seriously. Screechy "WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" as they're going to another dimension. Not kidding here. xd And Sakura sounds older and the slightest bit whiney. xp
DUDE. CLAMP needs to go force the voice actors to make a KuroFay drama CD... xd heart

All right, in my opinion the Tsubasa anime is utter 100% crap. Season one was tolerable but season two make me literally sick. However, the OVA's are made of win. And the movie was decent.
Now I'm a dub fanatic but as far as the Tsubasa dub went, the only voice I liked was Yukito's. That's it, the other voices plain out suck. Fay's voice in particular was the absolute worst. Followed closely by the voices of Mokona and Sakura. It was a BAD dub. If you're going to watch the anime, watch it in Japanese. Nuff said.

The OVA's are awsome! They totally stick with the storyline!
Season one was okay, but yes, I'll have to agree with Altomare about how horrible season two was. At least half, if not more of the entire season was fillers. I especially hated episode 32, A Date With the Magician. It made me sick with all the FayChii stuff that never even happened! It makes people whio haven't read the manga think FayChii is a possible pairing... xp

But I have yet to watch the second episode. And I kind of dread it. SOMEONE STOP ME!!!! crying

@DarkSideDragon06: If you dread it, then don't watch it. wink
Watching anime should be something you look forward to, so if you don't like the dub, try the sub. Mokona's voice in the Japanese version is soooooo cute I could just hug it to death!

@Midnight__Sapphire: Yeah, but it gives me something to do when I don't have anything to do.
I reallly wanna watch them but both versions. Except in Japanese I'll use the subtitles; cause if I don't use them then I'm gonna be all like "I have no idea what they are saying!!!!!!" gonk
Yeah I'm weird. Get use to it. 3nodding

You're not the only one who doesn't understand without subtitles. x3
Someday, I want to learn Japanese and become good enough to understand raw Japanese anime. Then I can watch Tsubasa all over again... in raw! whee

Yeah, me too. But then it'll be like Chopsticks. I'll use them then I'll get fed up and ask for a fork.
It'll take a while before I am good enough to understand the language cause ya gotta imerse youself in the cultural as well. Like my sensei says, or use to say, "You have to think in Nihongo."
Still, I like the dubbed versions because you listen as well as watch instead of trying to read and watch the scene before you miss something.
How many episodes are in the first season? Where do we leave off on? A filler episode or a manga episode?

There are 26 episodes in each season, so 52 altogether.
The end of season two is left off on a filler episode. It was really weird because there was a character named Chaos (Ka-oos) who's not from any of CLAMP's work nor the Tsubasa manga. I won't tell you anything else case you haven't gotten there yet. wink

I'll watch the episodes in Japanese. I just hope the caption is right cause I'm still far from mastering the language.
Although I could read the episode guide. With all the pretty pictures.
So if anyone comes back, can ya tell me which arcs happen in which season? Like the Outo Arc happens in the first or second season?

I wonder if Funimation is going to release season 2? Cause all I've seen is season 1.
