Kayien looked down upon the world from her temple. She couldn't handle the solitude anymore. Nearly everyone around her feared her. She had never asked for this power or to be born this way. She never chose to be the Goddess of Death. She shook her head. It wasn't her! Her Brother should have the full title of Death God but it wasn't the way others saw it. She was the last of the Female Death Gods it was her duty to carry on the family line and produce an heir. She didn't understand why it was her responsibility, if her brother found a mate to sire children with they would be just as, if not more, powerful. "To Hells with the lot of them." she muttered moving to the balcony and opening her wings. She dove off, heading for the earth. The world was a big place...let them try and find her.

Several Hours Later:
"My Lord!" The servant ran into the thrown roon, fearing for his life. He cowered on the floor hoping the God would have mercy. There was a chance He would kill him for bringing the Death God such news. But if he failed t report it at all the god would have his head, of that there was no doubt.

Zarek sighed, rubbing his forehead. He hated this type of crap. Damn fools...he thought. He opened his silver eyes at the man and lifted a bow. I know that groveling. "Speak." he demanded in a low voice.

Zarek narrowed his eyes at the man and stood quickly. "DAMNNIT! SHE MUST BE FINE IMMEDATLY! SEARCH THE AREA AND COMB THE HEAVENS! NOW!" he ordered, his voice booming.

She walked around, looking at the shops in the sall town. The place was beautiful. She looked into the window of one of the stores and smiled seeing the kittens play.

Devon sighed as he walked in from the backroom. He walked up to the window and smiled at the kitties. He laid out their food and smiled st them."There we go..all feed." he stated.

Kayien giggled as one of the kittens tried to climb part way up the mans sleeve.

Devon smiled softly. He picked the kitten up and rubbed it's nose with his. "You are..such a little trouble maker." he teased. He held the cat and turned from the window, walking to the counter and sitting down on the stool behind it. He sat the kitty down on the counter and smiled as he found a toy and played with the kitten with it. This little black kitten was his favorite out of the litter. He soo wanted to take it home and keep it. But....he couldn't have animals. He sighed.

She smiled soflty and moved to go into the store. She was curious as to having one of the kittens. If she was going to have a normal life she wanted a pet to take care of as well. The bell chimed over the door as she stepped inside.

Devon stopped playing with the kitty and stood, looking up. "Welcome..." he stated before he laid eyes on her. He froze, unable to move. "Wow..." he breathed out.

She smiled at the man. "Hello!" she said brightly looking around the store. It seemed quiet in here. She moved to the counter.
